An interview with the Missing Link

This is yellow_canary. I am currently standing by the large ice chunk that is the Missing Link's home. It's very cold, icy, windy, and downright terrible here in the Ice Caves. The Missing Link, otherwise known as Fred, has agreed to be interviewed.

YC: Fred, why did you choose to live in this miserable chunk of ice?

Fred: Well, I used to be a resident of Neopia, but I was teased terribly, and always being bothered by scientists. Finally, a few hundred years back I got sick of it and moved to the most remote location I could find.

YC: A few HUNDRED YEARS back? How old are you exactly?

Fred: I don't know, I lost track a few millenniums ago.

YC: Oh. Do you remember anything about your childhood?

Fred: Not really. When I was really, really little I got frozen in a different hunk of ice. That's as far back as I can remember. I guess that's another reason why I chose this place to live, after being frozen for millions of years, you get to be pretty comfortable where its nice and cold.

YC: According to the caption, your brother is the father of the Chia species, making you the uncle of the Chia species. Does that make any sense?

Fred: Huh?

YC: Um, never mind. Anything else you'd like to say before I leave? I'm getting cold.

Fred: Yeah....All you young Neopians out there, don't get discouraged if you are teased because you are different. Remember, you can always escape your troubles by getting frozen in an ice block for millions of years.
