Stormon, The New Hip Kau

Hi! My name is Stormon the Kau. I used to be a Shoyru but today I am here to tell you about the crazy life that I’ve lead. Well I think I should start when I was adopted from the pound. Thanks to a great owner I was adopted from that horrendous pound. I over heard my new owner talking to the kind Blumaroo saying that I was going to be put back in a couple of days. I wondered why would you pay good Neopoints to get a pet out then pay more to just put it back again? I felt sick.

I despised Ms. Worley. My owner seemed kind when we arrived in her beachside apartment. Boy did she have a great view. Everywhere I looked I could see Korbats, Scorchios and Shoyrus flying around. From here I could even see the thousands of fellow Neopians crowded around the Auction House. I wished the thought would last forever but I knew I was soon to be taken back to Ms. Worley. At the crack of dawn the next day I realized I was being poked and prodded in the side. My owner smiled at me and said, "I have found you a new home". I had no idea what she meant.

She didn’t say I was going to another home before? I slowly walked back to the pound and there was another smiling face looking straight at me. She said, "Welcome home, Stormon."

As we walked through the main shops into her neighbourhood I was filled with happiness. Her house was just as cozy as the last. She had three other pets, which were eagerly awaiting me at the door. The Acara introduced herself first. "Hello, my name is Kymnaya and this is my sister, Kymnarya and my brother, Chubby Checkers."

"Nice to meet you all," I replied.

"Our owner is very kind," said Kymnarya. Her name is Katrina."

The next day I awoke to the loud noise of rustling of leaves outside. There was a Lenny in a tree. The next day Katrina looked extremely happy. She said we were going to a mysterious place.

The next thing I remember is going down a long path between houses that all looked the same. Katrina now was grinning from ear to ear. She walked into one near the end and a weird looking Scorchio said, "You found my secret laboratory."

I had heard about this place. A lot of my friends were changed here. Just as the ray turned on me I bolted but it was to fast for me to out run. I was suddenly in a daze and I felt around me and I realized I was on all fours. I looked down at myself and I had turned into a red Kau! I was shocked at what had happened at first but then I came to like it. It was also unfortunate because I had lost my wings. I still loved flying.

The next day Katrina was beaming. She said we were going back. I didn’t want to but she insisted, and I am now glad she did. When we got there, the crazy Scorchio was amused. He said, "Back already?" Katrina replied by saying, "Let’s get this over with". By what she said I think Katrina even felt uncomfortable being there. Katrina again chose me. I decided I would stay in the same spot, as there was no way I could out run it. The ray gun made a loud bang and I was still standing on all fours. I opened my eyes and looked down and I had changed into a disco Kau!

I was so happy that Katrina promised never to go back because I couldn’t get any better. To this day forward I am happy being a Kau, but I still miss being a Shoyru. I also miss being able to fly up into the big, blue skies. I think my life has been changed ever since the day I met Katrina. Thank you for this wonderful blessing!
