I Want To Be Poor!!!

I don't want to be poor to escape the slack and insults of being rich, or to be pitied upon by others. I want to be poor for the well being of my pets. Ever since I have become rich, I have had a hard time getting food for my two adorable pets (Pytmu and Nytmu). Now that I am rich, I must buy all my own food which is becoming hard for two main reasons.

1. I log in to NeoPets at least once a day and I usually spend 15 minutes in the shops. I rarely get enough food there for my pets to be full up.

2. The marketplace price food is WAY above what it should be sold as (this has be mentioned many times before).

When I was poor and could go to the Soup Kitchen, I took it for granted. I only wanted to be filthy rich and to have all the money in the world. I did everything I could to be rich, I opened up a shop, I bought and sold items in auctions, I signed up for all the sponsors and everything.

Since I have come to the decision of being poor, I have done something you may never even dream of. I donated lots of money to the Money Tree and I donated all the items of food, clothing, and Battledome items that I could get my hands on, just until I was under 1000 NP and a few items.

This is probably the corniest thing you will ever read but, now that I am poor, I am grateful for less obvious things. The Soup Kitchen, having a guild where everyone is happy, the happiness of my pets and meeting friends through Neomail.

One thing I would like for you to keep with you after you finish this article is to NEVER EVER take the Soup Kitchen for granted, for it may be gone someday, like cheap prices and an infinite number of quests.
