Haunted...No?

Blooming_Flower and I stepped on the creaking steps of the old, freaky house. "I'm scared, Soaring_Leaves, let's not go up." Bloom shivered as she sat more tightly on my back with her hands around my neck rapped tightly.

"Quit being a scaredy-Kacheek," I mumbled, "and quit choking meeeeeeee!!" Bloom's hands dropped.

"Oh I'm sorry!" the yellow Kacheek murmered.

"And I am NOT a scaredy-Kacheek you, you..."

"Shh!!! Quiet down a bit, would you, Bloom? We better quit arguing, because we gotta find Flaming_grass and Yummy_Chocolate!! It surely isn't gonna help if we keep on arguing!!" I told her.

What happened you're probably wondering? My birthday is today!! And somethin bad happened!!! Ahhh!! Sorry bout that, but I have a really bad temper.

See, what happened is that my owner, Yummy_Chocolate, decided that since it's my b-day, we should go out and have some fun out at the Kiko Lake. Normal, right? Wrong. We did have fun, but then this BIG storm cloud came and started raining and pouring and thunder and lightning were all around us. Because Yummy_Chocolate, my owner, and Flaming_Grass, the Green Shoyru, are both scared of storms and lightning, they ran all the way to this old, freaky house.

But because I am a red Korbat and I have Bloom on my back, I'm not fast enough to catch up with them even though I can fly (no offense or anything, but Bloom eats a lot :). And plus, Bloom fell off my back because the rain made my back slippery and it made it so she couldn't sit still.

So now we have to find where Yummy and Flame went. "Hey look!" Bloom calls out. "There's a door!"

I looked where she was pointing and made her slip off my back and fall. "Ouch! You cracked my back bone, Bloom!!" I joked.

"Hahaha! Very funny!" Bloom glared.

"Check out the door, Leaves. I'm scared."

I sighed and went over to the door. I opened it a creak and could see that it's very dark inside. I gulped. "C'mon Bloom."

She came up behind me and both of us stared as another flight of stairs was placed in front of us. "Not again!!! I'm sooo tired!" Bloom whined.

"Shouldn't I be the one that's tired??" I asked.

She glared at me again. "You are so evil, you lil' Korbat."

I smiled. "I know. I'm proud of it too."

We started up the stairs, trying to ignore the windows with the curtains which were dancing as the wind blew them in, out, in, out. I shivered. Bloom started clutching my wings, which messed me up while I was flying.

"Quit it, Bloom." I hissed. "Stop it now!!!"

Again, we arrived in front of another door. Bloom looked at me. "Can you open it, pretty please with a chocolate Korbat on top?"

I nodded and pushed it opened. It was very dark inside. I could hardly see with my bad eyes. Bloom pushed me aside and went in the dark room. "I'll go in if you're such a scaredy-Korbat!" she said to me.

"Wait Bloom!" I called. "Wait for me-"

Suddenly, the room lit up and a loud "SURPRISE SOARING_LEAVES!!!!" and a "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!"

Yummy came up to me from behind the door and wrapped me in her arms. "Happy Birthday, Leaves! Isn't this a GREAT surprise?!" Flaming_Grass and Blooming_Flower came over to us and gave me a hug too. I smiled. "This is the best birthday I ever had!!" I cried happily.

"This IS the only birthday you ever had. Because you're only one year old!!!" Bloom joked and we all laughed very hard.
