Elements and Control

I remember the day quite well, it was a sunny day. I was playing with my owner, ilovensync4ever169's other NeoPets. My owner was out buying us food and toys. FlamingIcySkeith, ShiningEarthyWocky, BurningWindyKorbat, and myself, RainingWindyAisha, were playing in the backyard of our owner's lovely house.

"Let's play hide and seek!" I squealed. I was still young and the only female pet my owner had, so my voice was higher then my fellow NeoPets.

"I'm the best at hide and seek," boasted FlamingIcySkeith. His blue scales were shining in the light of the sun. "I'm not it though, I'm better at hiding," he added.

"I'll be it, I can fly. It will be much easier for me!" BurningWindyKorbat said as he flexed his massive red wings.

"OK," the rest of us agreed.

"I'll sit in the apple tree while you hide, no going outside the fence though! I'm counting as high up as I can, 100!" BurningWindyKorbat yelled to us. "1,2,3,4,...." he counted as we all ran to hide.

"He thinks it'll be easier on him just because he can fly, well I'll show him," I said. I ran to the corner of fence and started digging with all my might. I dug a hole I could just fit in and put some dirt on my head.

As BurningWindyKorbat went out looking an unseen stranger was emerging from the depths of our backyard. None of us could see this stranger, but we'd see him in time. The dark stranger went over to the place where FlamingIcySkeith was hiding. He took out a larger bag and put the Skeith into it.

"Help!!" FlamingIcySkeith yelled, but no one could hear him. This stranger went over to ShiningEarthyWocky and put him into the bag also. In no time the stranger came over to me. I was very scared and didn't know what to do. I just sat still as he put my into the bag along with FlamingIcySkeith and ShiningEarthyWocky. We were so scared we couldn't speak.

Through the bag we could hear BurningWindyKorbat was trying to attack the stranger. He tried everything but the stranger caught him too, and put him into the bag with us. "What are we gonna do?"I asked everyone. We were so scared we couldn't think.

"Hey, I just thought of something, maybe we have these names for a reason," the shaking green Wocky said. "I mean, all of our names have to do with elements. Earth, Fire, Water, Wind, Ice, maybe we have the power to control them."

"If that were true we'd have been able to use them before," FlamingIcySkeith said.

"Maybe that's because we never TRIED to use them before," I said. "Maybe," I said slowly, "We have to think about the elements we think we can control. Let's see, I control Water and Wind," I told them.

"Then I control earth," ShiningEarthyWocky said. "And you control Fire BurningWindyKorbat. And that means you control Ice FlamingIcySkeith."

"OK, let's think about what we want our elements to do. I guess we should picture it!" I explained. All of us started to picture it. The ride in the bag was very bumpy and was very hard to think but we continued. I was thinking about a bigwindy and rainy storm. Soon I heard thunder crackle.

"It's working!" I yelled. Soon the bag started burning away. We were free! BurningWindyKorbat must have done that. We stood facing the person that had stolen us. FlamingIcySkeith roared a monstrous roar, and ice came out of his mouth! Then we felt a monstrous earthquake coming from ShiningEarthyWocky. It moved toward the person that had stolen us.

We ran, and flew, from this monster as fast as we could. When we were far away we looked around. "Where are we?" I asked. Everyone had a confused look to answer me with.

"I'll fly up and look." BurningWindyKorbat. He flew around and yelled down to us, "Follow me I'll lead us home." We followed him all the way. Luckily our owner wasn't home yet. We all decided not to tell ilovensync4ever169 about our powers until we were older.
