My New Home

One day I was sitting with my old owner playing ball, when all of a sudden she said, "Uni194, I HATE you! I have to spend all my money on YOU!! it's time to say goodbye!"

Then she stood up and dragged me to a tall white building. We went through a door with the word ABANDON on it. Little did I know what that horrible word meant. I was taken shortly thereafter to a cell with other starved, sick NeoPets crammed in it. I knew I was not going to be happy here... ...I was sick. So sick I could barely speak, let alone call for help.

My eyes filled with tears. If someone didn't take me away soon, I'd be a goner. I fainted in shock after I realized that. All of a sudden, I felt myself being picked up by warm, gentle hands. "Was this a dream?" I asked myself. I struggled and cried out. I was scared.

My mommy said, "Don't worry little one. You are safe now. Go to sleep and rest."

I was too weak to do anything but obey. When I woke up, my mommy was still holding me, showering me with hugs while the Soup Faerie spooned hot, delicious soup into my mouth. I knew then I was in good hands.

Soon I was brought to a pretty house, my new home! I jumped up and down! Then I saw Korbie757... I rushed over and introduced myself. My story ends there. I am very happy and healthy now, and well taken care of. Korbie757 and I are best buds, let alone sisters. Later we were joined by little LupeZWolf, my baby brother.

The first words I said to him were "You have the best, most caring mom in the world."

I'm going to tell him my story when he's old enough to understand. My mom, someday_375, has promised me I am here to stay. I once had a older sister named crissy12, but Mom couldn't afford to take care of 4 pets, so she had to go. Mom was sad for a while, but now she knows she did the right thing; crissy12 was mean and nasty to Korbie757, LupeZWolf and me. We admitted it after crissy12 was gone. I have found my home.
