The NP: Knowledge of Neopia
Well, I have been playing Neopets ever since... about May/June 2000. I basically
know most of the stuff you need to know. But the most important thing you need
to know about how to survive in Neopia is NP. It's all about the money. Most
players of NeoPets know the value of NP, but some don't. In these few players'
bank accounts, they have NP coming out of their ears, nose, and mouth. But the
rest, like me, are middle classed Neopians. Not desperate for NP, but don't
have too much. We can afford food, toys, books, and so on. But I made this article
not to tell you about how I am, and not to tell you how other people should
do things in Neopia. I'm here today to talk about the V-A-L-U-E of NP. So listen
closely.
"For richer, for poorer..."
Some people have so much NP, they could afford anything. ANYTHING. Some have
none, and some and just enough. Trust me, if you have no NP, and when I say
"no NP" I mean about 10NP, you can still buy one or two things, and survive
with that. No your pets won't die of hunger, no, your pets can't get depressed
from no toys, and yes, your pets CAN go without clothes. They're pets. Actually
a bunch of HTML. But lets not get into that. If you have 10NP and buy 1-3 things
from the food shop, you're fine right there. If your pets start to starve, then
just go to the soup kitchen! Then, if you feel that your pets aren't having
fun, find a free theme park. They are all free to get into, but some people
set their ride prices to 0 NP. Trust me, your pets will get all you need from
those two options. If not, neomail me at Bananahead610.
"Richie Rich"
Some people overprice things in shops, because they want NP. Little do they
know, no one in their right mind will buy overpriced things unless they are
that rich AND that desperate. There are many overpriced things in Neopia, notice
the Neopia Inflation is 1.15-1.25%. When I started playing Neopets, it used
to be 0%. Also, when I started playing, green apples could be bought at 3 NP,
maybe even lower! But now, I search in the Shop Wizard, and they cost 3500 NP,
at the lowest! This is totally stupid, but it must be done for a reason. These
reasons are that many preferences have been added. Such as the cooking pot,
the upcoming battle dome, and the Ice Caves. The cooking pot items, such as
the green apple, are overpriced, too much. I can see 50-75 NP, but 3500!? Whatever,
these people are very unusual...
"War and NP"
And so, as I bring this article to an end all I have to say is, if you have
your NP, use it as you like, just try to make it a little easier for us not-so-rich
Neopians out there. Thanks. If you have any questions, just neomail me at Bananahead610.
Thank you.
