Prices too LOW or Too HIGH? You Decide!

A recent problem has been pointed out to me in the past few weeks. A few Neopians complain that prices are too High and some complain that they are too Low. I researched this topic and found out two potentially hazardous problems for all Neopians.

Using the Shop Wizard I noticed that some shops sell their items way, way too cheaply, making it hard for some of us to compete with the prices. The Wizard points out the cheapest items in Neopia with the click of a button, literally! A lot of rare and more uncommon or more expensive items are sold way under the original cost. A pillow (a rare item) was sold for 4 Neopoints, a black boom box was priced for 10 np, and a Treasure Map was priced at 20 Neopoints. It could be possible that these owners didn't know the worth of the items, but still, prices shouldn't be quite that low. It makes it hard for others to have a chance to sell their items for a fair cost.

Another problem is that some COMMON items are to highly priced. The Shop Wizard showed me this too. Food items especially fall victim to this. A common item such as an apple was priced for 30 Neopoints when it's value is only 8! Baby foods are originally 15 Neopoints instead they range for 50-150 Neopoints! Some newer people have to feed their pets and cannot yet afford these prices, nor can some of the struggling Neopians. Yes The Soup Kitchen is open for them but only if they don't have more than 50 Neopoints. Most have way more than that but can't afford the food. So many pets are starving because their owners can't get the food for them.Why should our pets suffer because of these shop owners who over price common food items that should be about one third the price?

So please, fellow Neopians, if your prices are too HIGH or too LOW, please consider settling your prices in between the Low and High mark, to make this better for ALL Neopians. You will benefit, and the buyers will benefit too. Thank you.
