Elekbolt was in a slim glass tube which was closed at each end. But
Elekbolt was floating in the water and…glowing. Glowing the red colour
of her fur. Ckakoo stood there, shocked once again. What had happened
to her?
"Ckakoo…Dr. Sloth…he's coming…get her out…escape from him…"
LiLKyootie used up the last of her energy and went unconscious in Ckakoo's
arms. She looked back and saw, indeed, Dr., Sloth drawing nearer. The
fire inside Ckakoo had died and she didn't know a way of getting Elekbolt
out.
"Elekbolt," Ckakoo tapped on the glass, "C'mon stop that!"
"El??" Elekbolt stopped glowing and pushed her nose up to the glass,
"Bol??"
"Good girl!! Look," Ckakoo sniffled, her eyes wet with the tears streaming
down her face, "I didn't mean what I said before. I really like you. You're
special. C'mon. Try to get out!!"
Elekbolt smiled and tried to smack her head against the glass. She sprawled
backward but didn't give up. "Rudnosg!! Etg Hemt Own!!"
Dr. Sloth was almost there. He had ordered something at the huge monsters
trailing behind him. Finally, Elekbolt smashed against the glass with
all her strength. Surprisingly, Elekbolt had grown bigger and now was
big enough for Ckakoo to ride. Ckakoo seated on Elekbolt's back, who turned
her head to her and smiled. Ckakoo, who's tears poured down her face even
more than before now, looked down at poor LiLKyootie. LiLKyootie was still
unconscious and was barely breathing. Elekbolt licked away Ckakoo's tears
and stared at the wall.
"What are you doing?" Ckakoo asked, but couldn't find her voice. Dr.
Sloth was now almost in the doorway, and they were doomed with no way
out. Elekbolt charged the wall with no warning. The wall crumbled instantly
and Ckakoo found that they were in space. Elekbolt was flying down to
Neopia and never looked back. Ckakoo laughed with Elekbolt as they both
had an image in their head of Dr. Sloth, angry, waving his hands up in
the air. After what seemed like a lifetime, LiLKyootie in critical condition,
they arrived in front of their apartment. Elekbolt let Ckakoo down from
her back. Ckakoo hugged Elekbolt with her free paw and wiped away tears
of joy.
"You are the best, Elekbolt," was all Ckakoo could say. They took the
elevator up to room 356 and bounced into the room to find no one there.
"What?" Ckakoo gasped. Where was Ivy?
"Your owner is in the hospital," a voice spat behind them. Ms. Worley??
Ckakoo rode Elekbolt down out the window toward the hospital. Ckakoo still
held LiLKyootie tight. A cold liquid trickled on Ckakoo's left paw. It
was cut pretty bad.
"Elekbolt! Hurry! LiLKyootie is bleeding!!" Ckakoo screamed. Elekbolt
bolted toward the huge H. As they burst in the hospital, Ckakoo screamed
out Ivy's name deliriously before she fell to the floor, unconscious like
her sister.

LiLKyootie and Ckakoo shared a hospital bed. They bolted upright at
the exact same time screaming Dr. Sloth's name. Beside their bed was faithful
Elekbolt, licking their faces, obviously worried. Ivy sat up in the bed
beside them, stroked their heads, crying. "You went through so much. You
were gone for a whole month and a half. I was in critical condition for
about half of that and in here for the rest of the time. I was so worried
for you, but I knew you three could do it." Ivy whispered.
Elekbolt whimpered and scampered down on the bed at the twin's feet.
"Ckakoo?" LiLKyootie telepathically said to Ckakoo, "Thank you. You really
do care for me, don't you? Thank you."
"I did it cuz I knew you'd do it for me. Wouldn't you?" Ckakoo answered.
LiLKyootie didn't answer, but Ckakoo knew she had heard. Elekbolt adjusted
her sleeping position to keep the twins warm, and they all slept peacefully
that night for the first time ever.
Questions remained unanswered such as "What did Dr. Sloth mean by 'the
one'?" and "What happened to Dr. Sloth?" Well, you'll have to wait until....
So, until then, let's just say, they lived Happily Ever After. Or did
they?
The End?
