- The 74th issue of the Neopian
Times has just been released. This week top articles include Boochi the Baby Bruce: how
bad can you get, Owning land in Neopia Central and Two years of changes. There are also loads of
new stories, comics and the weekly round up of events.

17th January
- The new Mystery Pic has just been launched. The answer to the last
one was the 'Week 44 Neopian Times Chia and Lupe Picture', yes very hard indeed!
- Why not send a friend one of our new Chinese new year Neogreetings?
- If you own a Barbat you can paint it Cloud, Blue, Pink or Green at the
Petpet Puddle.
- Next week we will be starting a new weekly contest - the Gallery Spotlight! Here you
will have a chance of getting your prize shop/gallery displayed on New Features as well as taking home
a nice shiny trophy and 1000 NP. If you want to enter, send the name of your shop, a brief description of it
and your username to gallery@neopets.com.

- There is a two page Elephante special in the Art Gallery today.
- A new Elephante themed Caption Contest
has just been launched.
- The Food Shop and
Chocolate Factory have a
whole new range of Elephante related foods for sale.
- Be sure to take your Elephante to see Cap'n Threelegs
today. He will be giving FREE training to any Elephante that pays him a visit.
- Elephantes can now be painted with the Striped and Baby paint brushes at the
Rainbow Pool.
- Elephantes have three new Battledome Abilities -
Elephante Wallop, Elephante Shield
and Elephante Blast.
- The Book Shop
has some new Elephante themed books that have just been
stocked.

15th January

14th January
- We have a new Lenny Conundrum!! Yeah! The answer to the last one
was 150. Yes, we know it was insanely hard. Congratulations to all 37 people who got the answer
right (except Katherine and Robert who cheated - I'll be taking your prizes back asap!)
Shiny Prize!
- There is a chain letter going around at the moment saying that you *have* to forward it on to all of your
Neofriends. Please do not do this, chain letters slow down the site for everybody (and are really annoying!) The
Neopets Team will not be 'demolishing' any unused accounts so there is nothing to worry about.
- It seems that weapons made out of Apple Jelly are actually pretty
impressive in the battledome. Pick yours up at the Battle and Defence Magic Shops now!

- A new Caption Contest has begun.
- Due to the fact that lots of scams / fake login pages have been circulating, we have blocked people from sending
links over Neomail, sorry about this but we had no choice.
- There are some new pictures in the Art Gallery
today.
- Rumour has it there are some magical Lupe plushies in the
Toy Shop.
Owners are warned to keep their neopets well away from
any plushie that winks or otherwise appears abnormal.
- Remember that Thursday is Elephante Day so you will need to send in your
pictures, poems and pet/site spotlights very soon if you want a chance of winning.
- Two new Stamps
for the Neopia Central collection have just gone on sale.
