THEY COULD HEAR the guards' footsteps. They sounded like an army. Dilsen and
Elilah were very scared.
"Look, Dilsen, a ladder. Hurry
up!" Elilah shouted.
They climbed up the ladder
as soon as possible, but the guards arrived immediately. Lucky for them, they
did not see them. Dilsen remembered the Dark Faerie told him the EVERLASTING
POTION was on the last floor, and they were on the last floor. It seemed very
empty, and they walked around looking for the chambers of the Faerie Queen.
Suddenly they got to a hallway that was completely purple. Straight ahead was
a door saying "Faerie Queen Chambers". Dilsen slowly peeked through the door
and walked in alone, and Elilah stood in front of the door as a guard. He closed
the door, and heard a voice suddenly.
"You're here for the EVERLASTING
POTION, aren't you?" a woman said.
He turned around to realise
it was the Faerie Queen herself.
"How did you know?" he asked
nervously.
"I'm the Faerie Queen, I'm
watching down on every single pet, and I know the Dark Faerie sent you,"
she continued.
"But I don't, it's for my..."
Dilsen was still nervous.
"I know, your parents. I also
heard rumours about her starting a war soon. She needs to be destroyed,"
the Faerie Queen stated.
"But she's my mother,"
Dilsen defended the Dark Faerie.
"You really believe that?
She just wants you to get her the potion, and when you do, she will rule the
world anyway. Don't be fooled. No faerie ever had a child. It's impossible,
it's against the rules!" the Faerie Queen explained.
"Maybe you're right,"
Dilsen answered.
"I am. Here's a potion." She
handed him a big, purple bottle.
"Oh... the EVERLASTING POTION."
He admired the bottle.
"Not really. It's something
I call the EVERJARING POTION," the Faerie Queen replied, giggling.
"I don't understand." Dilsen
seemed to be confused.
"It's a Faerie Queen special.
I use this on faeries that disobey, it works all the time. What it does is it
puts faeries back into their jar. Use it on the Dark Faerie, and your parents
will be free." The Faerie Queen looked at Dilsen once again, and vanished in
smoke.
Dilsen walked out of the room.
He and Elilah hurried to exit the Hidden Tower. On their way Dilsen was sceptical.
He thought to himself: "What if the Faerie Queen was lying? What if the Dark
Faerie is really my mother? If I put her in that jar, I will be taking away
the life of my OWN mother."
"Dilsen, we're here, the Dark
Tower. Hello?" Elilah tried to make conversation again.
Finally, when she got his attention,
he left her, and walked up to the big door again. The same creature opened the
door, and he immediately walked to the Dark Faerie.
"Ah... look who's here, my
son... have you got my potion?" she smiled.
"Yes..." he handed the potion
to the Dark Faerie, and she drank it.
"Delicious," she said.
Now I have to wait to look younger. "I'm shrinking, help, help!"
She was shrinking, indeed.
Dilsen put her in a jar, and threw her in the river through the window. He rushed
to his parents and freed them.
"Son, thank you. We love you,"
Emiranda cried and embraced her son.
"You don't believe she's your
mother, do you?" Lenvin asked.
"Nah... she lied. My real
mother is right here," he said in a happy tone.
They walked out of the Dark
Tower. Elilah was surprised to see her parents again. After that Elilah was
never mean to Dilsen again, and when they grew up, Dilsen became a guard at
the Hidden Tower, and Elilah became a dancer at the same place. Strange...
