Wacky Things About the Neopian World by feliciaeng | |
Krawk Island, a recently found island, has a noticeable (or is it?) quirk.
Have you ever noticed the big sea serpent on the top right corner of the map?
If I were living there, I'd be screaming, "AHHHHHHHHH! THERE'S A BIG SEA SERPENT!!!!"
Rather than walking along on the streets, "Hey, Hi Giant sea serpent! Nice to
meet you! Hey is that my arm you're eating?"
The Lost Desert
I have nothing against the Lost Desert. However, what about its name? If the
Lost Desert was found, how can it be Lost? It's not like we're looking for it!
It's already been found! So really it should be called The Found Desert.
Tyrannia
Tyrannia is a wonderful place to watch live concerts and get a free omelette.
Though, whatever happened to the Tyrannian volcano? It happened to just disappear.
Poor Neopets, who had to go down with it. Back to the topic of omelettes, isn't
the omelette a cooked egg that cracked? Similar to the sea serpent topic, I'd
be wondering WHO IS LAYING THE BIG GIANT EGG!!! When the egg had gone missing,
we had received a replacement. What is laying that big giant replacement? THERE'S
A BIG GIANT ROAMING AROUND! Even when the egg is laid, how does it crack open?
If it didn't crack open soon enough, a big giant monster would be spurting out
of it right? On a related topic, how come the Lair of the Beast never comes
out? Perhaps it's the one laying the egg!
Faerieland
Faerieland, a lovely dream world above the clouds (not to mention how snobby
the Faerie Queen acts in the Hidden Tower). Since it's such a lovely place,
I won't even question why the city isn't sinking through the clouds. I will
mention one thing though, did you notice how the employment agency says 'Make
your pets earn their keep' Well if our pets are earning it, how come we're doing
their work! Just a thought.
Terror Mountain
Down below the tip of terror mountain is a snowy place called Ice Caves. There
is where the Snowager is located. A greedy lazy snake who stays in his cave
all day. How is the Snowager alive or moving? He's supposed to be made of ice,
so he's either a frozen snake which can't move, or an ice sculpture! So technically,
we can just march in there and grab the things that he owns!
Mystery Island
Mystery Island, one of two islands found in the Neopian world. A nice Tombola
shopkeeper is willing to give away island merchandise. I enjoy his generosity,
but his fashion sense is not exactly ideal. Time to get a new shirt Tombola
man! Then there is the tiki tack, selling outrageous prices for a bottle of
sand, sandals, or even an old greasy issue of Neopian times. I think if I want
one, I'll go for auction, Neopian shops, or even the wild dressed Tombola shopkeeper.
VirtuPets Space Station
Every time I go to the VirtuPets Space Station, it's quite a delight. Though
my ears are probably sore. The loud speaker is always booming something over
the microphone! They boom things that never relate to us! Hopefully one day,
the microphone will boom 'The microphone is in low power, informative messages
(informative?) will not be heard for 24hrs.' Yay, I'll be looking forward to
that!
Haunted Woods
The Haunted woods, a creepy place. I don't visit it too often, but on occasion,
I may stop by. The Ugly Brain Tree, he's supposed to be smart. Though he's telling
us to get answers he should know! He makes us go through trouble just to find
the answers! He doesn't even hide the fact he knows these things and is playing
a nasty trick. If you ever gave him a wrong answer, he'd tell you that it wasn't
the right answer. How is he supposed to know? If he really didn't know the answer,
and wanted us to get it, then how come he knows the one we gave him isn't right?
He's not exactly the master in lying. Of course, how could I forget the lazy
Esophagor. Probably the Brain Tree's partner in crime. He probably gets thousands
of meals in an hour, yet he's always hungry. Perhaps if we helped him we could
get the answers the brain tree asks for. So he's probably always getting fed!
I wonder where all that food goes?
Thank you for reading my article of the Wacky Things of the Neopian
World! However remember, the quirks in these lands make it interesting,
and it also gave me a topic! : D |
