Between the evil beings that lurk in Neopia, one of the most popular "bad
guys" is the Pant Devil. Yeah, that laughing, evil-looking, item-stealing monster.
Yeah, that Pant Devil. Between stealing items and doing Battledome challenges
(which I would mention, he always loses) I, joe_c15, got a chance to catch up
with the devil himself and answer some of my tough questions.
Joe-c15 ( J ): So, we all know that you love stealing items from people, but
what I want to know is... why?
Pant Devil ( PD ): Well, firstly, I just don't love stealing items, but I
also love the way that the owners cry and scream over my actions. What do I
do with the items? Well, I use all the BD items in Battle Dome... duh!
J: Ooookay, but what about the toys, the plushies and the food. You do eat
them, do you? The food, I mean.
PD: The food. Well, if the food is delicious, then why not?
J: And the toys and extra stuff?
PD: Oh, well... I have my own little secrets lying around. Doesn't everybody?
I mean, look at Jhudora... she lets everybody give her items, and did she tell
them what they're for? Noooo. That is kind of like me. I'm secretive.
J: When somebody challenges you to BD, do you always lose?
PD: Oh no. Even though I'm like, the easiest one around, I sometimes win.
About 5 wins in 20 games or so, but that doesn't bother me... I have all their
precious items. *laughs wickedly*
J: What do you think about the April Fools joke? I mean, that's got to hurt.
Everybody was accusing you.
PD: That was so five minutes ago but well, since you mention it, it was kind
of funny. Everybody was fuming at me. I became a star. Not that I'm not a star
but, you know... I became even more a star. I was the popular monster in Neopia.
Not that I'm not... AAARGH! You know what I mean. *sighs*
J: Yeah, we all know what you mean. *rolls eyes* How do you spend your free
time anyway? When you're not stealing, I mean.
PD: Well, I sometimes hang out with my colleagues.
J: Colleagues?
PD: Yeah, those who do stuff the same as me, or similar to me.
J: Like who?
PD: Like the Grundo what's-his-name. Yeah, and there's the wandering ghosts
and I sometimes hang out with the Flaming Meerca.
J: Flaming Meerca? You hang out with the Meerca?
PD: That's not kind of surprising. I mean, we play BD and all. We're labeled
bad guys and that kind of stuff. Why?
J: Hey, I'm doing the interview here! I was just surprised, you know. So,
next question. How do you feel when everybody in Neopia hates you? Not a single
owner wants to see you, or even hear your name. How do you take that?
PD: I take it like a juicy chilli dog from Hubert's. I love it when people
hate me; that's why I'm here. I am born to be hated and looked down upon. Hey,
that's my job. Why, you feel sorry for me?
J: As I said, I'm doing the interview.
PD: Yeah, yeah...
*beep* *beep*
J: What's that?
PD: My beeper. Somebody's about to challenge me in the Battledome. Got to
go... oh, I enjoyed the interview, if you would like to know.
J: Good luck, I hope you don't lose.
PD: Don't worry if I lose. I'm the Pant Devil, remember?
J: Yeah...
*Pant Devil flies off*
You see, the Pant Devil isn't kinda bad. Well, even if he is a thief, a conceited
little freak, and a little selfish, he isn't bad like we all think. Take my
word for it... or better yet, my items.
