The Ice Scorchstone: Part Four

by fire_faerie_8080

The Ending
I ran to the treasure room and grabbed the key. I put it in my pouch. As I was ready to uncork the Queen Faerie I was busted.

"Halt!" screeched the Dark Faerie.

My next action can be described as a good mishap. I was so startled I dropped the bottle it broke into a thousand pieces and out came the Queen Faerie. I gave her the key.

"Quick," I said forgetting she was a Queen and I was just a Meerca, "free the rest of the Uber Faeries free my sister Air_Faerie_8080 and my mum fire_faerie_8080 and get them to safety. I will take care of the Dark Faerie."

The Queen Faerie rushed to carry out my orders soon all the Uber Faeries were free and they left to rescue my sister and mum. I picked up a golden sword and went into a fighting stance. The Dark Faerie picked up a silver sword decorated with spiders and other evil looking things.

"Today is the day I finally will get vengeance for what you did to me last time," the Dark Faerie cackled evilly as it lightning and thundered a violent storm had arose.

"You will not succeed," I growled and we were off into a battle.

We fought harshly blocking and jabbing. We somehow worked our way out into the courtyard of the castle right in the middle of the storm. Lightning streaked throughout the sky and thunder crashed and bashed while waves rose and fell with great strength sending spray everywhere. I let my guard down for a moment and found searing pain in my arm a large gash had been inflicted by the Dark Faerie's sword. I slashed back quickly and the Dark Faerie found herself in pain with a cut on her cheek.

"You little rat... I will get you for that," she screamed partly from pain, partly from anger.

I noticed were nearing the edge. There were sharp rocks below and old vines had grown up the wall. We kept getting closer and closer until I was right on the edge. She jabbed and as I dodged I lost my balance. I felt myself fall into space.

I used my tail and I wrapped it around the vines to stop my descent. I burned my tail from the friction but I finally stopped myself. The Dark Faerie was about to cut the vines when my brave little Seasong, whom I guess followed me, bit the Dark Faerie and sent her sprawling and occupied her until I was able to climb back up.

While she was still busy with Seasong I took a running leap and did a somersault as I came down, disarming the Dark Faerie and breaking her sword by throwing it to the rocks below. I ran back inside the castle and I found my family. We headed for the exit only to find it blocked off by the sopping wet Dark Faerie.

I looked at my sister and winked, as she nodded her head. We ran and tackled her, opening the exit. We ran outside only to be confronted by the Snowager. Then I realised something; I still had the golden sword but my necklace was gone. I turned around and was horrified to find the Dark Faerie had it.

"As I said before," she said icily, "you may have won the battle I won the war."

I saw the Snowager had the Ice Scorchstone with it. I couldn't let them perform the spell that would destroy and enslave all of Neopia. I took a flying leap toward the Snowager and it lurched back startled and surprised at my actions. I took the golden sword and sliced the Scorchstone down the middle and then it disintegrated into millions of pieces. The Snowager was suddenly angry and aggressive (again).

"Oh well, I said I needed this for the Scorchstone. I never said I needed the Scorchstone for this," she said with a gleam in her eye.

She felt a tingle feeling and suddenly she felt immense power. Air_Faerie_8080 went to attack and was blasted out of the way. I then came to. I took up the sword and with the last of my strength I ran and leaped and severed the chain. I finally grabbed the necklace.

Instead of passing out like I thought I would for sure, I felt tingly and a whole lot better. I felt sort of powerful. This time I blasted the Dark Faerie. I used the ice magic to send the Snowager back to his cave and then I used the ice magic to seal the Dark Faerie in a bottle.

"Here is a taste of your own medicine," I whispered to her. Then I laid the necklace on a rock again. I took the golden sword and I smashed the necklace. Then I passed out.

6:00 NST: Neopia Central: The Hospital

I spent two weeks recovering in the hospital. I was informed the Dark Faerie was going to be punished severely. I think the Queen Faerie said something about cleaning the whole castle with a toothbrush and other such things. I received medal for honour and bravery. A festival was held in my honour people celebrated for days upon days on end. We then lived happily ever after or did we who knows what could lie ahead in the future who knows what forces plan to threaten us in the future.

The End or is it?

Author's Note: Hi! I hope you liked the story this is the sequel to the "Rainbow Scorchstone". I'm not sure if I will make this trilogy or not. I have to think about it. Who knows, maybe I will make a prequel. But anyway, this is a fictional story and the only characters that actually exist are my pets and I and the Uber-Faeries. I hope you liked this story just as much as the last one :)
