If you have been around Neopia for a while you will have noticed mushrooms
popping up everywhere. In shops and especially in the Apothecary.
But what are these ugly things that seems to sell quickly and for a hefty amount
of Neopoints? That's why I'm here. Today, I have made a list of all the Mushrooms,
Toadstools, and the like that exist in Neopia. Some have magical healing powers
and the ability to make your pet stronger but there are some that can harm your
pet in the worst way. So here you go and be wary of the results.
I'm a fun guy!
Blue Healthshroom: "Vitalizing and healthy - eat this mushroom to restore
you pet to full hit points!" That is the description that comes along with this
certain mushroom but it lies. The Blue Healthshroom does not give your pet all
of his/her points back. In fact, all it does is give you one. I would suggest
going to the Healing Springs if your pet is weak.
Green Healthshroom: "A souped up version of the Blue Healthshroom!"
Yes, it is better than the blue but it still is weak and a waste of money. If
you are an active Battledomer and you can't go back to the Healing Springs for
another 30 minutes don't use this. You can find a healing bottle that will give
your pet more points, depending on the size. It cheaper this way.
Bad Toadstool: "This is one ugly mean toadstool. It is most probably
poisonous." If you give your pet this Toadstool, it will take away 3 Hit Points.
Bad. Very Bad.
Green Toadstool: "Toadstools are usually bad for your pet..." Usually,
but not all of the time. This one actually helps you out. Give your pet this
toadstool and it will feed him/her and gives him/her 3 hit points. Maybe this
is a counter effect for the Bad Toadstool.
Pink Toadstool: "This one does not look very tasty." It may not be
tasty, it may very well taste like Chewing Dung but it feeds your pet. And a
feed pet is a healthy pet... not happy mind you... but healthy.
Tealshroom: "What a lovely shade of teal. It will go great with my
curtains. :)" This mushroom only feeds your pet. Kind of a shame though, having
such a pretty mushroom being bitten and mixed with your pets saliva.
Mega Power Plusshroom: "Straight from the dimension of goodness, this
Mega Power Plus mushroom will do your pet a world of good!" It does! Feed your
pet this mushroom and not only will it feed him/her but it will make him/her
feel more powerful and gives one level up.
Super Fast Shroom: "Make your pet faster.... permanently with this
incredibly rare treat!" Well by the description and the name I'm sure you can
guess what this does.... Okay, well I'll tell you, it increases speed by one
point. WhooHoo! Look at him go!
Poisonous Mushroom: "Do not eat this mushroom, it is not very nice
at all!!! It will most probably give your pet a disease!" It does give your
pet a disease. Neopox. If you pet already has a disease and you feed him/her
this, it will now have Neopox.
Below are the rest of the mushrooms in Neopia but all they do is feed your
pet. No special powers.
Bloatershroom: "Wow what a fat mushroom!"
Blood Mushroom: "This mushroom eats small animals, hence it's deep
red blood coloration." NOTE: This may be the ideal food if you have a Halloween
Blumaroo.
Flakyshroom: "Lovely and flaky, this mushroom is very nice when fried."
Floatyshroom: "Floatyshrooms hang in the air, they don't grow in soil
at all."
Propellorshroom: "If you throw this up in the air then it will fly
away... we aren't too sure what happens if you eat it."
Smellyshroom: "Boy this one smells, most unappetizing!"
Spindly Mushroom: "Very tall, these are hard to collect because the
wind usually breaks them in half."
Ugly Mushroom: "This mushroom is depressed... nobody loves it :(" |
