Does your pet like to get expensive gifts and refuse to play with anything
that doesn't cost a whole bunch of NP? Are you sure what to get them for Christmas
and not spend too much money? Take this quick quiz first, and then see how you
can prevent your NeoPet from becoming incessantly spoiled and bratty, but at
the same time getting them a present they really want. You'll be saving a few
Neopoints too! Take out your pencils, are you ready?
1) It's time to feed your pet before you head out to the market to
go Christmas shopping. You've been tight on money lately by buying new furniture
and saving up to upgrade your NeoHome. When you give your pet an omelette for
breakfast, your pet's expression is:
a) Great, Carrot and Peas! I love them!
b) Aww, not again! I've had those for 15 days now!
c) Ew, I don't eat things that everyone eats! I don't even LIKE omelettes!
Why can't I have some Easter Neggs instead?
d) Nothing, your pet just eats it.
2) Everyone knows it's Christmas, and when you stroll into the toy
store, which items would you pick for one of your presents to your pet?
a) A plushie that looks exactly like your pet. Your pet collects items
that have their exact image (for example, if your pet was a red Pteri, they
love Red Pteri Plushies and Red Pteri Keyring and Red Pteri Morphing Potion)
b) A box of crayons and a Sketch-a-Pic. Your pet hates to be bored and
likes to do different and creative things.
c) The Geisha Usuki Doll, even though it's horribly expensive and costs
all your bank's savings. You have to get it though, you know that's the price
of peace and quiet and no whining.
d) What you can find at a decent price, you know your pet won't care
that much.
3) You're taking your pet to the Grooming Parlor for a new grooming
brush. As your pet spots really, really neat PetPet T-shirt while passing the
Clothes store, although it is just a teensy bit out of your price range, your
pet most likely would say:
a) Can I pretty please, pretty please have that cute T-shirt for Christmas?
It's so wonderful and cute! Please? With an Organic Cherry on top?
b) Wow, that shirt is really original, I bet no one else has it! Can
you get it for me? Come on, it'll be cool!
c) GET ME THAT SHIRT OR I'LL START TO CRY! WAHHHH...
d) Neat shirt. Come on, let's go, the quicker we finish and go home,
the better.
4) You go to the Battledome Armour and Defence shops. When you get
there, you see this Grand Lightning Beam on a clearance sale! (Wahoo!) You're
about to buy it for your pet because your pet:
a) needs it for Battledome and has been patient and praying for one
for about half a year.
b) is very competitive and needs it to win a rematch against a friend.
c) won't settle for an Improved Lightning Beam, even though they do almost
equal damage.
d) needs to get out more and start exercising.
5) When you get your pet a gift he or she doesn't particularly like,
your pet:
a) plays with it for awhile just to be polite, then gives it to a sibling
who may like it better that he or she does.
b) finds alternative ways to use it then it is meant for.
c) complains about how cheap it is and begins to lament incessantly.
d) examines it, then tosses to the side or trades with a friend.
6) Your pet's attitude about Christmas is:
a) Giving is Getting.
b) Making your own gifts is more heartfelt and personal.
c) Is this for me? How about this one? How many gifts for me?
d) Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
7) If your pet were to give you a Christmas gift, what would it
most likely be?
a) A trading card because your pet knows you collect them.
b) A clay sculpture of you and your pet.
c) A wish list for next year.
d) Homemade cookies.
If you chose mostly As:
Your pet is very loving and kind, obviously you and your pet are very, very
close and know a lot about each other. They aren't very spoiled, in fact, they're
very generous, and they aren't the type to whine. They understand about NP shortages
and how to be practical, although they do wish for gifts they really want. They
don't tend to waste presents, and are polite to let you know if they don't like
a certain gift. This type of pet deserves a very special gift for being so good
this year, and it's easy to buy presents for your pet because they let you know
what they want without being unreasonable. Some gifts your pet may enjoy if
they are loving and kind would be plushies, scooters and books. Especially books
involving their species and faeries.
If you chose mostly Bs:
Your pet is very individualistic and being original and creative means a lot
to them. They don't like being bored and doing the same things over and over
again. When feeding them, they tend to enjoy eating exotic foods and having
different courses and they don't like eating omelettes day after day. Eventually
they will start rebelling if they are not stimulated with the excitement of
difference. They aren't spoiled, they are just used to dealing with things in
their own way. Because some pets like to be individual, they don't always like
the "predictable gifts." A gift suggestion would be a box of crayons, or a Rainbow
pencil. A diary is surefire paella if your pet is creative!
If you chose mostly Cs:
Spoiled doesn't even being to describe your pet! Obviously your pet is very
pampered and is used to being treated well. Many pets who have no siblings or
belonged to a previous rich owner may behave like this. Not to worry, there
are ways! Talk to your pet about the value of NP, maybe buy them some books
on NP management. (See Cybunny Financing) Tell her or him about world hunger
to make he or she aware to be thankful for what she or he has. NeoPets are generally
very sensitive this time of season, even Jetsams! Some gifts to get them don't
always have to break your bank! You can get them extensions to their Usuki dollhouses,
a whole kit of grooming items or give them 5000 Neopoints to spend for their
own choosing, so they can pick out a present they like!
If you chose mostly Ds:
Your pet is very normal and mundane, and your pet seems very distant. They are
content, but they aren't particularly happy. Try giving them gifts to show that
you care, and spend more time with them. They'll begin to open up and develop
interests, that way you can get them gifts that are special to them! For example,
let them try battling in Battledome and they might like it! Or try treating
your pet to a visit to Faerieland and going on a job or a quest! A great gift
for a pet like this are PetPets, especially Fungrees and Snorkles. Some PetPets
are friendlier than others, try getting a happy looking one! Your pet will surely
be pleased and cheerful.
Well, that's it! I hope this guide has helped to make decisions to get your
pet the perfect gift for Christmas! |
