A few minutes later after the "Room 01 Boy's Room" incident, Raquessa found
herself, walking next to a tall Aisha, the principal. They finally stopped at
the real room 10, Mrs. Winburn's kindergarten class. Raquessa took a deep breath
as the Aisha gradually opened the door. On the other side was a long desk, scattered
all over were papers and apples. The classroom was full of toys, and circular
tables where little pets innocently smiled.
"Why, hello, Mr. Peterson!" Ms. Winburn, a Shoyru smiled to the Aisha. "Class,
let's all say hello to the principal to the school, Mr. Peterson!"
Raquessa looked at the pets. The all said together in a sing-songy voice, "Hel-loooo,
Mr. Peter-sonnnn."
Mr. Peterson walked towards Mrs. Winburn. He whispered something to her, and
she agreed. When he left, Mrs. WInburn grinned down at the nervous Acara.
"Class, this is Raquessa, say "hello!" to Raquessa!"
The class once again sang, "Hel-loooo, Ra-quessaaaa..." Mrs. Winburn directed
the Acara to her seat, next to a Cybunny and a Chia.
"Okay, class," Ms. Winburn began, fluttering her wings. "Let's start the day
by... colouring!" The class cheered.
As the class coloured, Raquessa closely listened to the Cybunny and Chia. They
were bragging about their colours.
"My mummy gave me a paintbrush that turned me into a faerie," the Cybunny boasted,
showing off her beautiful wings.
"Oh, yeah? Well, my mum gave me a desert paintbrush," the Chia bragged.
Raquessa sank low under her chair. The Cybunny then looked at her. She smiled
a twisted smile. "I guess your mummy's too poor to make you look pretty," she
joked.
Raquessa's cheek's glowed. "Not true!" she sharply whispered.
The Cybunny whispered something to the Chia, who grinned. They both looked
at Raquessa. "Peasant Girlie, Peasant Girlie, you are a Peasant Girlie," they
teased.
Raquessa couldn't bear this. "I AM NOT!" she yelled, standing up. The two pets
sank beneath their chairs.
"Now, now, Raquessa, be nice," Ms. Winburn assured the furious Acara. Raquessa
bashfully sat, and continued to be taunted.
A few hours past, the two pets kept on making fun of her. They looked from
high and low for some way to insult her, either poking her because she was a
cerulean colour to she didn't colour in the lines.
Soon lunch time came, and everyone was happily taking out their lunches. Raquessa
took out her Light Faerie lunch box and opened it. Inside was a Faerieland Gourmet
Burger, a raspberry milkshake, a Phear, and Earth Faerie Brownies. Suddenly
a group of Grarrls came up to her.
"What ya got their?" the leader of the group menacingly said.
"M-y-y l-lunch," she whispered.
"I see..." the Grarrl began.
"That lunch looks real good," one of the Grarrl's goons said.
"Thank you," Raquessa said a little bit louder.
"Yes, it's a very nice lunch, but..." he trailed off. Raquessa was confused.
"...but I think it's a little too big for a little girl with your figure," he
said, "so I'll lighten this heavy pack for you."
Raquessa gave a weak smile. "Thank--"
Then all of a sudden, the Grarrl grabbed the lunch box! He and his goons cackled
like a bunch of old witches.
"Hey!" she cried.
"Give that back!"
"Why should I?"
"Be...cause... it's mean!"
"So?"
"Give...it...BACK!"
"Who's gonna make us?" The room got very quiet.
"I'll tell Mrs. Winburn!"
"Then we'll make every day of your life a living nightmare," the Grarrl darkly
breathed. Raquessa looked down at her feet. "Fine," she grumbled.
As the squad was about to leave, the Grarrl remembered, "Oh, yeah, you can
keep the lunch box! Ha!" and flung the lunch box to her.
The gang ran back to their tables. Raquessa stared blankly at her lunch box;
empty. Not even a crumb was left. When Mrs. Winburn returned to the classroom,
Raquessa was ready to tell the whole story. Then she noticed that the Grarrl
was in her class. She sat back down.
