Your user profile is one of the most important things in NeoPets. Why? Because
it is what people see when they look up your username. Since the first image
is the biggest one, you can do a few things to your profile to make it good
and make people think you are rich. Let's look at a few of the things that can
beef up your profile. Do them in this order, because the more expensive things
are at the bottom, and are harder to do.
About Me text: The about me text is at the top of your profile,
and can be edited with no cost. To edit your about me, go to your preferences,
and you can put whatever you want there. You can put html here, but, actually,
if put html in, it should be for the text in the profile, not backgrounds, because
plain white puts a lot more emphasis on your profile itself. My about me isn't
that good, I'm not that creative.
Hobbies: This is also in your preferences. Picking three hobbies
lets people know about you, and also adds a line to your profile.
Guild: Joining a guild is also free, and it adds a line to your
profile. To join a guild, go to shops, guilds, and pick a guild you like. The
best guilds are usually small ones with 20 or so members, not ones with, say,
1000+ members, so you'll have to look through a few pages :)
Games: If you play some games, they will be displayed in your
profile, and since people like big numbers, the more games you play, the better.
You don't even necessarily need to get a good score, unless you want a...
Trophies: Trophies are at the bottom of your profile, and they
really make you look cool and rich. The easiest trophies to get are by playing
and winning at Cheat and Go-Go-Go, respectively, because they aren't actually
a ranking, so if you just beat the final competitors, you'll get a champion
trophy. Playing mystery
pic and better than you are also good ways to get trophies.
Shop: These cost 250 NP to open, and add a line to your profile.
Everyone should have a shop, because they are a great way to make money.
NeoDeck: These cost some NP to make, but I don't know how much.
Name it something creative, and whether you put cards in it or not, it will
still show in your profile. (Again, with cards it is better, because people
like big numbers.)
NeoHome: NeoHome are the ultimate profile add-on! They can add
7 lines to your profile! They are also the most expensive. It costs 1000 NP
to build a NeoHome. For each room you build, until the 4th room, you will be
able to make an extension to your NeoHome, such as lighting, carpets, or wallpaper.
You will have to build more rooms to get past the 4th extension. The extension
order is partially random. The least expensive extension is wallpaper.
You can look at my profile or someone rich you know for examples. Don't forget
that one of the best looking things is the shield and pet that say how long
