Jubjubs Revealed by scruples88number2 | |
When you here the word Jubjub, you probably think, “Oh, a cute, shy little
ball of hair.” Well, I am out to change that stereotypical image. Sure, Jubjubs
appear to be peaceful, shy creatures that do nothing but roll around all day,
but most of you should know by now that nothing in Neopia is quite what it seems.
Before I go into this, I have a theory on the origin of the Jubjub. I believe
that Jubjubs originated not from the peaceful planes of Neopia, but from the
treacherous world of Terror Mountain. Think about it, they have those giant
feet (Which are even bigger in their prehistoric Tyrannian counterparts) that
would support their weight across the snow like snowshoes, and that thick fur
that would keep them warm in the subzero temperatures. They must have been much
stronger and durable than the Jubjubs of today to survive the biter cold and
the vicious predators that inhabit the mountain. If they needed to escape a
predator in a dire situation, they could roll down the side of the mountain
to safety, which is how they ended up leaving. Some of them ended up going to
Faerieland when the Snow Faerie visited her sisters, and in the lap of luxury,
they evolved (or should I say de-evolved) into Magaral the Faerie PetPet.
Since they moved away from the harsh conditions of Terror
Mountain, the Jubjubs have become more docile, but some of them still
have the fighting instinct. That is where I am trying to make my point. Not
all Jubjubs are weak and shy; some of them are fierce fighters.
One prime example is Commander Jub, the fierce forest warrior and creator of
the Forest Arrow. Not all fighting Jubjubs are that powerful, but they can be
worthy opponents. I am training my Jubjub fuzzball88_none to become a fighter,
and he is a lot better than my Elephante.
I could go on about Jubjubs for pages, but the times wouldn’t publish my article
if it was too long, so I have to cut short. I hope you’ve learned a lot about
Neopia’s most popular ball of hair, and you will no longer underestimate them.
