Hey, you already know all the cheap weapons that people say are good. Like
Improved Lightning Beam, Radioactive Snow, etc... They're good, but LET'S
GET TO THE GOOD STUFF!!! Most of these weapons are not for Neo-Millionaires...
if you are one, just buy Hidden Tower Items... These are for Neopians that
aren't Neo-millionaires but are not poor!
Attack Weapons:
Grand Lightning Beam (GLB) - This weapon is a souped up version of
the Improved Lightning Beam (ILB). The average price on the Shop Wizard in
35,000 NP. It's better attack than ILB, but ILB has better defence. It does
2 fire icons, 2 light, and 1-2 physical... it also defends 2 dark icons. If
you can't afford the better stuff I highly recommend this weapon...
Attack Fork (AF) - This used to be 90,000 NP but now is an average of
35,000 NP. This item isn't as powerful as GLB so I would get that one instead.
It does 2 water icons, 1 dark, and 2 physical... and can defend 1 fire. This item
isn't as good as GLB, so I would get that. But if you want to try this weapon
out, then I can't stop you. If you're lucky, you can get one of these for finishing
a brain tree quest.
Wand of the Air Faerie (WAF) - This is a very good weapon...
it costs an average of 200,000 NP. It has a lot of power and can defend against
fire. This item was ALMOST put in the Hidden Tower, but luckily, it is affordable
to you. It does 3 air icons, and 1-3 physical... it also defends 3 fire icons.
I recommend this weapon, you should hurry up and get one before prices raise.
Dual Expert Bow (DEB) - This is also a very good weapon... it costs an
average price of 160,000 NP. It does 5 icons of either light or dark, hence the
name. It is semi-breakable, and is very powerful... you should have this weapon
equipped.
Ancient Manchu Bow (AMB) - This bow is way better than the DEB. But it
is worth an average of 900,000 NP. It can do either 3 air icons and 1 physical,
or 3 air and 3 light. It is also semi-breakable but not likely. This is a very
powerful weapon, and you should definitely invest in one today.
Snow Flame - This is a very powerful weapon... but it is WAY overpriced.
The average price is about 600,000 NP. It does 2 fire icons, 1 water, and 2 light.
It also defends 2 water icons, and 2 fire. You can get this item if you want but
I would rather save up for a better weapon.
Hydro Hammer - A Hydro Hammer is a new, good weapon. If you could afford
one of these, I suggest that you get one... because from what I see, the price
will go up! Right now you could probably get it for 700,000 NP. This is a powerful
weapon, and it would benefit for you to have it equipped.
Rings of Fire - This is an adequate weapon with an average price of 125,000
NP. It does 2 fire icons, and 2 light... it also defends 2 fire icons. This is
a very good weapon. If you cannot afford at least. an Icy Glove or DEB, then I
suggest that you get this.
Icy Glove - The Icy Glove is a great weapon. You can buy it for about
150,000 NP. You can purchase it if you like it, but in my opinion... I think
you should save up 50,000 more NP, if you didn't already have it, and buy a
WAF. Or if you want... you can buy this weapon, or a DEB if you want... and
when you have the money, sell the weapon, AND THEN buy the WAF.
Freezing Weapons:
Hypno Helmet - This weapon used to be 8,000 NP, then went to 20,000, then
to 50,000, then to 90,000, then back down to 50,000 NP. But since Neopets changed
Fiery Gaze and Diamond Dust... they're 115,000 NP and rising. Hypno Helmet freezes
them for one round, but you can only use it once per battle. I would definitely
get one now before they get even higher!!!
Defence Weapons:
Thyora's Tear - This is the best defence item, it blocks ALL icons for
that round. It is worth an average of 800,000-900,000 NP. This is a weapon you
have to have equipped, but I think it is a little overpriced. But it is still
Awesome!
Greater Acara Shield - The Greater Acara Shield is an awesome shield. I
haven't tried it personally, but I hear good things about it. I've seen this shield
for as low as 21,000 NP! Where others are asking for 40,000 NP. So if you have
an Acara, this would be a pretty good shield for you to use.
Mega Fire Shield - This isn't a very good defence weapon, but if you like
weapons that are rare you should get this one. It is overpriced at 110,000 NP.
It defends 2 water icons, and 2 physical. I don't recommend you get this weapon...
but if you want to go ahead.
Ice Shield - This is one of my favourite defence items. Its average price
is 135,000 NP. It defends 2 fire icons, 2 water, 2 air, and 2 earth, which is
really good. The thing I like about it, is that it has a chance of freezing one
of your opponents weapons that they used for the battle. This weapon is really
awesome, and you should try it out.
Large Metal Shield - THIS SHIELD IS AMAZING!!! You should ABSOLUTELY have
this shield equipped! The Large Metal Shield defends the exact same thing as an
Ice Shield... but can't freeze their weapon. It defends 2 fire icons, 2 water,
2 air, and 2 earth. This can be bought for LESS THAN 100 NP!!! If you don't want
to spend money on defence, at least have this, it can REALLY come in handy.
Shadow Shield - If your opponent likes using fire and light weapons this
is the shield for you! This amazing Shadow Shield defends 5 fire icons and 5 light.
Its average price is around 50,000-60,000 NP. The Shadow Shield is really cool,
plus most shields don't defend light so this will come in handy against a GLB
(Grand Lightning Beam, for those of you not paying attention).
Healing Weapons:
Blue Scorchstone - This is the Scorchstone that you MUST have. It heals
30 hitpoints, and the average price is 90,000 NP. This is very handy when battling...
and if you want to win you have to have a Scorchstone equipped, and this would
be the BEST to start with.
Green Scorchstone - This Scorchstone is HIGHLY overpriced, because you
can buy a Blue Scorchstone for 100,000 NP... and this Scorchstone only heals you
10 more hitpoints than that and it is worth 250,000 NP!!! But if you can give
up the extra NP... it will give you a better advantage in the Battledome.
Purple Scorchstone - This Scorchstone is also overpriced. It heals you 50
hitpoints in the Battledome... and is an average price of 500,0 NP!!! You can
buy 5 blue Scorchstones and still have money left over... But if you can afford
it, then get it. It will help you out A LOT when battling.
Rainbow Scorchstone - This Scorchstone is very expensive, but very good.
It is worth 1,100,000 NP!!! That is a lot... but it also heals a lot too. It heals
you 80 hitpoints in the Battledome. If you have good weapons, and can waste the
money without missing it, then I suggest you get one.
Ubikiberry Bag - This is a Hidden Tower item that can be bought in the
Trading Post for an average price of 250,000 NP. It creates infinite Ubikiberry
Elixirs, they heal 5 hitpoints. If you want to spend your money on it you can...
but I wouldn't recommend it, you should buy a Scorchstone instead. But if you
already have a Scorchstone... and want one for extra healing, then go for it!
Bombaberry Bag - This is a really good item, plus it's a Hidden Tower
item that you can buy in the trading post for an average price of 600,000 NP.
It creates infinite Bombaberry Elixirs, they heal 11 hitpoints... now that is going
to come in handy.
Well, those are all the tips I could give you about which weapons to pick.
