“Look at this dump,” WaterPoogle said.
“Yeah, it’s really gone downhill,” StoneShoyru said.
“Okay EarthKau, which ship is DarkGrundo’s?” FireLupe asked.
“It’s gone,” EarthKau gasped.
“You mean he could be getting ready to fire the beam any minute now?” IceQuiggle
cried.
“Yep. We could be goners in seconds,” AirKyrii said.
“It couldn’t have left long ago. Let’s borrow a ship and go after him,” FireLupe
said.
“Isn’t that dangerous?” WaterPoogle asked.
“It’s the only way,” AirKyrii said.
The SuperNeos boarded a big aircraft and took off.
“I don’t think he would go to far away from Neopia. He needs good accuracy
for the laser beam and he wouldn’t want to miss. We should spot his ship soon,”
IceQuiggle said.
Sure enough in 10 minutes the SuperNeos spotted a huge ship orbiting in space.
“We can sneak aboard and attack DarkGrundo and his goons,” EarthKau suggested.
“Okay. Everyone pile out and open the main escape hatch at the back of DarkGrundo’s
ship. We can work our way from the back of the ship to the front where we should
find DarkGrundo,” StoneShoyru said.
The SuperNeos made their way into the ship but were immediately attacked by
three vicious Buzz’s.
“Freeze blast,” IceQuiggle yelled freezing the three enemies.
“Quick everyone make your way to the next room. IceQuiggle’s freeze blast attack
is inexperienced and the Buzz’s should be thawed out in no time,” AirKyrii said.
“This is as far as you go,” said a mean looking Zafara as it pounced on StoneShoyru.
“Stone statue,” StoneShoyru shouted as the Zafara turned to stone.
“Keep moving, keep moving,” FireLupe urged the team on.
“So you want to see DarkGrundo. Well he’s all booked up right now. He’s busy
destroying Neopia. Any minute now Neopia will be nothing more than small particles,”
a smart mouth Cybunny cackled.
“Poison ivy,” EarthKau said as vines of poison ivy wrapped onto the Cybunny
and started to squeeze her.
“Ouch. I’m so itchy,” the Cybunny cried.
“Only a couple more rooms,” IceQuiggle yelled to her team.
“I am Sabrina, the little Aisha you thought you could trust. When DarkGrundo
heard you were considering me for your group, he immediately contacted me and
told me to watch out for you. Now you will all be destroyed,” Sabrina said lashing
out a FireLupe and leaving a scratch mark on his face.
“Water jet,” WaterPoogle cried knocking Sabrina off of FireLupe.
“Tornado gust,” AirKyrii shouted.
“Thanks for drying me off, AirKyrii,” Sabrina laughed.
“Flame circle,” FireLupe shouted leaving Sabrina unconscious on the ground.
“Here it is guys. Let’s get him,” WaterPoogle said kicking open the last door.
“So you’ve made it to my lair. I credit you but you’re a little too late. I
have just enough power to shoot the laser beam at Neopia and destroy it. It’s
a shame you won’t be there to be destroyed with it. Oh well, here goes nothing,”
DarkGrundo said, reaching for the lever.
“Flame circle!”
“Water jet!”
“Freeze blast!”
“Tornado gust!”
“Rock rage!”
“Poison ivy!” EarthKau cried finishing off the mixture of attacks to create
the united power attack. A rainbow started wrapping itself around DarkGrundo.
“Dark clouds,” DarkGrundo cackled. The rainbow suddenly disappeared.
“Now we have no hope,” IceQuiggle cried.
“That’s right IceQuiggle. You have no chance at stopping me now. I will destroy
Neopia and then deal with all of you,” DarkGrundo said.
“Stone statue,” StoneShoyru yelled.
“Steel cage,” DarkGrundo cried.
StoneShoyru’s attack was evaded and a steel cage dropped from the ceiling and
imprisoned StoneShoyru.
“You have now learned the attack bomb explosion,” StoneShoyru’s crystal said.
“Bomb explosion,” StoneShoyru yelled.
“No you foolish Shoyru. Now all of us will be killed. That bomb will go off
in a few seconds,” DarkGrundo said.
“Let’s get out of here,” FireLupe shouted.
“What about StoneShoyru?” AirKyrii cried.
“We don’t have the time,” WaterPoogle yelled.
The SuperNeos made their way out of the aircraft just before it exploded, finishing
off DarkGrundo’s plan forever.
“Poor StoneShoyru, he risked his life for us and Neopia,” EarthKau said.
“This is a tough business to work in. It gets you involved emotionally too.
We just have to move on,” IceQuiggle said.
“Wait, look,” WaterPoogle said pointing out the small crafts window.
“It’s our united power rainbow,” FireLupe yelled. The beautiful rainbow twisted
around in the sky and then flew toward the SuperNeos aircraft dropping something
heavy on the roof and then flying away.
“I think it left us a gift,” AirKyrii said.
“Let's see what it is,” WaterPoogle said opening the hood of the aircraft.
A loud noise came from the roof and the StoneShoyru jumped in!
“Oh my gosh you’re okay,” IceQuiggle shouted.
“Yeah. I was blown up into small particles but then the rainbow put me back
together. It was awesome,” StoneShoyru said.
The SuperNeos laughed and headed home.
The next day, the SuperNeos were relaxing at their headquarters when IceQuiggle’s
high-pitched screams drew them toward the television room.
“Yes, ladies and gentleman, the new voices that will be with us for a long
time belong to the duo called Lorna and Erik,” the television announcer said.
“They made it! That’s wonderful,” EarthKau exclaimed.
“But now we have a new team and they are in the past. Right guys?” IceQuiggle
asked.
“Right!” cheered the SuperNeos in unison.
