From Light to Darkness: Part Three

by hitmontop444

The cloud Koi protected his face from the light of Jhudora's staff with her hands.

     Jhudora smiled grimly, "Ta, ta!"

Ciakaba closed her eyes. There was a blinding flash followed by growling sounds and Jhudora's voice shrieking, "Go away!!"

The Koi immediately opened his eyes again. Jhudora was hopping around on one leg. The other one was on the ground, like someone invisible was pulling it.

Ciakaba gathered all his remaining energy and stood up. Jhudora was too busy with the invisible thing who was pulling her to the ground, to notice Ciakaba.

"Ta, ta for you!" the Koi yelled, and he charged at Jhudora. She pushed the Dark Faerie on the ground with a loud bang.

"Graaah!!" Jhudora shouted, swinging her arms around. The bottom of her dress ripped apart and pieces flew around in the air.

Ciakaba quickly looked around and saw Illusen's magic bottle laying on the ground near the golden throne. She grabbed it from the ground and kneeled down next to Jhudora. Ciakaba tightly wrapped one fin around Jhudora's neck and with the other one she held the bottle above Jhudora's mouth.

The Dark Faerie looked at Ciakaba and gave her an evil hiss. The hissing sound she made was interrupted, because Ciakaba pushed the bottle in her mouth and squeezed Jhudora's nose shut.

Jhudora couldn't do anything, but gulp the magical water down. She made gurgling sounds. In panic, Jhudora stood up, shaking the invisible thing off her legs and slammed Ciakaba in her face. Normally, the blow wouldn't do much damage, but since Jhudora had magical abilities, Ciakaba rocketed through the air and crackled through the wall behind her.

The Dark Faerie raised both arms in the air, followed by another blinding flash. Slowly the invisible thing started to become visible. Ciakaba was shocked to see a Drackonack running around on the ground, growling. It wasn't just an ordinary Drackonack, it was Ciakaba's Dracko.

"Dracko..." the Koi muttered, too tired to speak any louder.

"I will finish off what I started!" Jhudora exclaimed, wrapping her hands around her staff and pointing it to Dracko. A beam shot out and struck Drack on the head. The poor Drackonack hissed and dropped unconscious on the ground.

Then Jhudora turned around to face Ciakaba. She started to smile grimly. With her left hand she wiped some clutches of hair out of her face. "Now it's your turn," she whispered, but loud enough for Ciakaba to hear.

Suddenly, Jhudora made gurgling sounds again. She dropped her staff on the floor and clutched both hands around her neck.

"What-What h-have you d-done?" the Dark Faerie stuttered, walking over to her throne and leaning on it with her side.

Ciakaba smiled slightly, watching the scene amused.

Jhudora's purple and green hair changed bright yellow. Her white skin transformed into a soft, bright skin. Jhudora's cape, dress and clothes morphed into a long white dress with orange spots on it. Her long, sharp fingernails shortened, her eyes changed from deep red into blue, shining eyes.

Within seconds she totally transformed from Dark Faerie into a choking Light Faerie.

Ciakaba gasped in amazement. He knew the potion would take care of Jhudora for good, but he didn't know it would actually change Jhudora in an Light Faerie.

Jhudora closed her eyes in shock, and she fell unconscious on the ground, her hair spreading over the ground, covering her face.

If you didn't know it was Jhudora, she actually looked pretty and cute now.

Satisfied, Ciakaba walked all the way down the staircases, through the corridors and left the castle.

It wasn't raining anymore. The dark clouds in the sky left, and it was clear and sunny again. It was like the clouds knew Jhudora was changed into a Light Faerie, so they left.

"I did it!" she called out, running to Hittop followed by her Dracko.

Hittop smelled and they embraced each other.

"Let's go back to Illusen," Hittop replied.

As if Illusen heard them speak, the clouds beneath their feet dissolved and they fell down.

"What the?!" the Koi yelled, swinging her arms around.

The ground got closer and closer with the second... Closer... Closer.. Closer... Thud!

They landed on a cloud. This cloud looked almost exactly like the one that took them to Faerieland.

Suddenly, the cloud took off with a burst, and they bounced a few feet backwards.

"Wow... Illusen sure knows some cool tricks!" Ciakaba said, smiling.

The cloud stops abruptly when they were above Illusen's glade and they got thrown off.

They landed in a pile of soft leaves, bouncing up and down.

"Great work!" Illusen said, with a big grin on her face. She was standing next to the pile of leaves.

"Yea! Cool! Jhudora is now a Light Faerie!" Ciakaba said excitedly, hopping on the ground.

"Exactly!" the Earth Faerie replied laughing. "Now she isn't evil anymore! He he!"

Dracko and Hittop also jumped off the pile of leaves and landed on the ground.

Illusen took some steps back, away from Dracko with a worried face.

"Err... to get back to business, your Kachyraeek!" she called out, "Kachyraeek is now changed back into a yellow Kacheek!"

She waved her hands around in the air, causing sparks and flashed of light to occur.

Hittop and Ciakaba both clapped their hands, smiling.

"I'll take you back to your Neohome in Tyrannia, where Kachyraeek is!" Illusen said.

Before Hittop could ask how she knew that they lived in a Neohome in Tyrannia, a loud popping sound echoed over the glade and they were transported back to their Neohome in a split-second.

The first thing they noticed was Kachyraeek. She had his normal yellow colour, and was sitting in the furry chair in front of the fireplace. She turned her head around and saw Hittop and Ciakaba.

     "Great!" she exclaimed, standing up.

     They embraced each other happily.

"So, how are you?" Ciakaba asked Kachyraeek.

The Kacheek smiled, "Yes, fine. I was transformed back into a yellow Kacheek! So what happened?"

Hittop pointed at the red chairs at the back of the room and they all sat down.

"Well, we went to Illusen because she is Jhudora's rival and Jhudora changed you into snot. She wanted us to do a quest for her, and if we completed it, she would change you back!"

Kachyraeek hopped up and down on his chair, which made cracking sounds.

Her owner coughed and continued talking, "Ciakaba made Jhudora drink one of Illusen's magical potions and Jhudora changed into a Light Faerie. Then we went back here."

"Wow!" Kachyraeek called out excitedly. "Jhudora is now a Light Faerie?!"

"Yep!" Ciakaba replied proudly, making clattering sounds with her tail.

Hittop stood up. "Excuse me, I'm going to my study room to continue writing my story for The Neopian Times. Hopefully one of my stories will be published some day," He sighed and headed for the study room.

It was early in the morning, Kachyraeek had slept that night in Ciakaba's room because they were in the progress of building Kachyraeek's own room on the first floor. They woke up by the sounds of drilling and clanging of stones. The Neopian Building Team was already working on Kachyraeek's room, making loud noises.

Hittop was sitting in the study room when a flopping sound came out of the corridor. He headed down and saw the new Neopian Times lying on the ground by the front door.

He picked it up excitedly, ran to the living room and sat down in the furry chair. Hittop opened The Neopian Times and started reading.

"Good morning!" Ciakaba said, entering the living room.

She yawned and stretched her arms. "What's for breakfast?"

"Nothing really. If you're hungry, fetch yourself some Omelette from the Kitchen. It's in the Cookie Jar," Hittop replied.

Before Ciakaba could leave the room, Hittop yelled, "Wow! Check this out!"

"What?" Kachyraeek asked, also entering the living room. Ciakaba and Kachyraeek sat down on the carpet next to Hittop.

"On the front page is a story about Jhudora and that she is now a Light Faerie!" Hittop answered.

     "What, what?" Kachyraeek called out.

Her owner smiled, "It says that Jhudora is now good and not evil anymore. In fact, she is now helping Fyora with the controlling of Faerieland.. Wow, that went fast. She's a Light Faerie for only a couple of days and is now already controlling a part of Faerieland!"

"I wonder what happened to her castle and such," Ciakaba replied.

Suddenly, a crashing bang echoed through the room, and the ground shook. Some pieces of stone fell down from the ceiling.

They looked up and saw some cracks in the ceiling.

"Great. Just great. They are going to pay for this!" Hittop yelled, running up stairs.

Kachyraeek and Ciakaba stared at each other.

"I'm going to visit Faerieland," Ciakaba whispered.

     "Me too!" the Kacheek replied.

They both headed out of the door without Hittop noticing.
