Top Tips For Faerie Quests by dcxu392 | |
FAERIELAND - For so long, I have seen fellow Neopians around me fall to their
knees in despair when they realize that they cannot use the shop wizard when they
are on a Faerie Quest (excluding Jhudora and Illusen). So I have dedicated this
article to the sole use of those people. Listen up!
# ONE
OK, here's the deal. You're on a Faerie Quest, and you don't know what to
do. You've tried the Shop Wizard, and that mean old Faerie says you can't use
him. Don't kneel down and give up hope, try something else!
This step is only for people who have brothers and sisters on the site. If
you have none, feel free to go to another article or skip to Step 2. I myself
have one sibling and I am very obliged to watch him at his quests. Be very watchful.
Eye your sibling's every move on Neopets. When he or she gets a Faerie Quest,
memorize what the Faerie wants. Next time you're on the site, buy that from
the shop wizard and put it in your Safety Deposit Box. Chances are, if the same
Faerie visits you, it'll want the very same item. Simply retrieve the item,
and then turn it in. Ta-da! Instant upgrade.
# TWO
If you can't Neomail, or you don't have a sibling, then heed this step: Go
to Faerieland, enter the city, and go to the Quests house. It will give you
a link that will tell you what each Faerie wants. Stock up on those items, and
when the time comes and a Faerie visits you, then you will probably have the
right item.
# THREE
Visit the other shops. You can go to the Shops link, and the regular shops
will be there. If your Faerie wants something, it wont stop you from entering
a shop in the Bazaar or Neopian Central, and that, my fellow, is a big help.
Each Faerie wants a different category of items, for example, the Dark Faerie
wants toys, so if you aren't a toy fan, or you just plain want your pets to
feel miserable, then at least pay a visit to the Toy Store for this. Once you've
entered, and you know what you have to buy, then look around and see if they've
got it. Once you've found it, hurriedly click on it and don't bother to haggle,
you run the risk of 1) getting kicked out and 2) hesitating long enough for
other greedy people to snatch your item first. If they don't have it, you can
either mope around, visit somewhere else, or click madly on the shopkeeper every
twenty or so seconds to see if they have restocked. If they just don't have
it, period, then there really isn't much hope, is there?
# FOUR
Now, for those of you that have Dark Faerie quests, listen up. My shop is
stocked full of plushies and toys of all kinds, only you may find it a bit emptier
than other shops because so many people visit it every day. So, you can just
come on in!
# FIVE
If none of these steps help you, or you just want to learn more, then you
can try entering random usernames in the Search icon and check out the people's
shops. If you can't find the item you need there, try another shop. It's that
simple.
# SIX
Have you ever tried the Trading Post? If not, then this is the time. When
you've been stumped in turn with each of the following steps, then it's time
to resort to the Trading Post. Simply enter the item you need and then, if you
are lucky, the item will appear, along with the people who own it. Trade away.
This can take a long time, especially if the user is off the site, but be patient.
It will pay off.
# SEVEN
Join a Guild today. Some Guilds, such as the Legendary Peace Keepers Guild,
give out Newbie Packs. Some of these packs may contain the items you need, so
join the guild to gain the Packs, and then it's up to you whether or not you
want to quit the guild.
# EIGHT
USE THE MARKETPLACE. If there wasn't a use for it, then why the heck would
they put it there?!?!?!?! Use your head! Click on the market place, look for
the higher ups, and read the ads. Most likely they will advertise what they
sell to a specific category, such as books, so if you have a water Faerie quest
then this is the shop for you. I hope you have found some interesting information.
Other steps include the Auctions, so you may want to try that. Good luck!
I hope, armed with this new knowledge, you will not be one of the weeping helpless
cowards!
