All About Neggs by neostephania | |
NEGGERY - Many people around Neopia experiment with Neggs (including me, for a
little while), not even knowing what they actually do. I have put together this
article to help Neopians out who are interested in knowing a little bit more about
Neggs. So what exactly are Neggs?
Neggs are special foods that you can
1) feed to your pet
2) exchange at the Neggery
for tokens which will allow you to buy special Neggs.
Here I have put together some fast facts about Neggs:
- Neggs only work once.
- The Neggery is run by the Negg Faerie, and as she says, "Just bring me
your ordinary, boring neggs, and I will trade them in for powerful, magical
ones!!!"
- Neggs at the Neggery (located in Ice Caves, Terror Mountain) are purchased
by trading in standard Neggs (brown, purple, green, orange, blue, yellow, pink),
Ice Neggs, or Easter Neggs for Negg Tokens.
- All Neggs will feed your pet, but some will do more, especially the Neggery
Neggs. Some heal, contain prizes, and help in the Battledome, while others even
have negative side effects.
- None of the special Neggs from the Neggery can be traded in for Negg Tokens.
They can only be used for many special characteristics, which I will describe
later.
- The Fish Negg is tradable for 50 Negg Tokens, but is also rare, retired,
and highly collectable.
- Have you heard the rumour that fish eggs turn into Fish Neggs? If you have,
simply ignore it, because the rumour is false. There is no way to create a Fish
Negg, nor is there a recipe for it.
- Where can tradable Neggs be obtained?
1) Snowager
2) Random events
3) Purchases from other Neopians, at the Auction House, via the Trading Post,
and can occasionally be purchased from the Food Shop in Neopia Central.
Here I have listed all the tradable Neggs that can be found around Neopia:
