The Festival of Neggs is an annual event celebrating spring and, of course, Neggs! Kari is thrilled
to celebrate with her old friend Mira the Space Faerie this year, who found several unidentified
negg-like objects during her travels across the cosmos... Since Kari and Mira have already begun
investigating these strange objects, this year’s Festival will be held up at the Virtupets Station!
How long will the Festival of Neggs last?
This year’s festival will begin on April 20th and end on May 6th. Day 1 of the event will actually
be a day and a half, running through April 21st.
What is Hop & Dye Neggs?
The Hop & Dye Neggs event is an NC Mall event where you can dye neggs in a wonderful
chamber that has Rainbow Fountain water seeping into the neggs, allowing you to receive all-
new NC prizes. It’s been proven in a previous NC event, Dip & Dye Neggs, from a couple years
ago that Rainbow Fountain water does a number on neggs! Bart from the Dip & Bob NC event
last year isn’t ready to reveal his secrets on how his “apples” magically gave prizes, but that’s
another story. Want to Hop & Dye neggs this year? All you need is a Hop & Dye Pass from the
NC Mall to see what the Neggs will bring!
What is the duration of Hop & Dye Neggs?
The event will start on April 27th and be available till May 22nd. You can participate any time
within that period by visiting the Hop & Dye Neggs page with any of the Hop & Dye Passes,
which will be on sale starting April 27th.
What are Hop & Dye Passes?
Hop & Dye Passes are high tech, super cool, futuristic passes that allow you to use the
contraption at this year’s festival to dye neggs! Simply tap your pass on the pass reader and sign
a form saying you won’t try and steal any of the Rainbow Fountain water yourself, and then
pick which negg you would like to see transformed! Prizes are to be won, so pick the negg that
suits you most!
How do I purchase these "passes" you speak of?
There are two ways you can purchase your pass. Visit the NC Mall or the Hop & Dye Neggs page
to purchase your pass. Once your purchase is complete, go to your inventory and activate it.
Then it’s time to dye some neggs!
Can I give passes to another player?
Yes, these passes are like any other NC item and gift-able via NC Gift Box (one item per NC Gift
Box).
Can I participate in Hop & Dye Neggs and earn prizes on my side accounts?
Yes, but only because you do not need to join the Festival of Neggs Hunt to participate in the
Hop & Dye Neggs. Remember, you cannot do the Festival of Neggs event on side accounts.
