He ravages and plunders,
After Dubloons and Neopoints
And all matter of wonders.

With his scurvy crew behind him,
He's fearless and he's cunning.
If anyone stands up to him,
Then he will send them running!

He's terrorised the Haunted Woods
And pillaged Mystery Isle,
Stealing anything he can find
To satisfy him for a while.

He isn't keen on faeries,
And Petpets he just hates.
He's rude and he's distasteful,
Even to his first mates.

The Pirate Chomby's no one's friend,
But that's what he likes best.
It takes a bloody sword fight
To make him laugh and jest.

Lock up all your valuables
And keep an eye on your bank,
But if you try to deal with him...
He'll make you walk the plank!

There's a Parade in Town!

The streets light up with fireworks,
Glistening in the sky.
The Chomby Parade is about to begin --
Look quick, before it passes you by!

Waltz over to the concert stage,
Witness Chomby and the Fungus Balls live!
Their astonishing sound engulfs Neopia,
As celebrations continued with a jive.

The Chomby Parade has outlived the day,
With no signs of dying down.
For this day comes but once a year,
Along with new pet colours and items in town!

They're such happy-go-lucky creatures,
With a wide smile upon each face.
They can't help but show their happiness,
As it is their time to roam, to march, to pace.

When all the excitement has been squeezed out,
And the Chombies have concluded their debauch,
All that is left is the silence that was,
Just a few moments ago, cheers and applause.

As quickly as it came, it leaves just as fast.
Hoping that next year will be as much of a blast!

Ode to a Maraquan Chomby

Maraquan Chomby with your buoyant flair,
The coral bow at your fair heed.
There is no other who can compare,
How hard you worked to succeed.

Your scales shine, bright and proud,
Green is their colour, the best of all.
Such royalty appeals to attract such a crowd,
Your dignified glory is to enthrall.

You are too humble and never did boast,
Such manners, graceful to even tell.
Truth be told you are the top of most,
Overall you exceedingly excel.

Your eyes are clear as a crystal blue pool,
Purple is the tone of each glossy fin.
True, unique looks make you rare as a jewel,
Such a beauty from outside and within.

Seashells attempt to make you a crown,
Bubbles want to float around your tail.
The seaweed have made you a colourful gown,
When you swim, left is a purple trail.

A celebration is due to you,
So we reconcile things this way.
The month will start fresh and anew,
Have a wonderful Chomby Day.

The Chomby Parade

And toss their heads up high in pride.
It's Chomby Day and all are here
To get on board and take a ride!

The festival is underway,
The tickets gathered one by one.
It's fun to ride on a Chomby's back!
It's quite a strange phenomenon!

The Chombies wink and gently bow.
They're kindly and they do their best
To give each Neopian time to ride.
They smile and smile their merriest!

Oh, welcome to the Chomby's Day!
It's quite a joyous spectacle!
The Chombies march in two-by-two
And know that they are beautiful!

The crowd, it claps and wildly cheers!
The Chombies end their jolly rides.
They buy some vendor food and snack
On cakes and pies and tarts besides!

The Chombies have come out to play!
The scene is splendid this midday,
So come and join the grand parade!
