SKEITH DAY SPECIAL
A Tale of Two Skeiths
By xlighterbluex
Come forth all ye younger pets
So thou shalt hear a finer tale
A lad who grew to rule Meridell
and another, king of Brightvale
Upon a time, a Skeith was born
and colored a brilliant green
He was a genius, smart as a whip
and always kept his space clean
But before long, yes, soon enough
there had came another
blue and large and ugly, still
He was Hagan's brother
At the Royal Nursery,
they feuded as brothers would
by shooting cannonballs at
Castles of blocks of wood
Years had passed and they had left
the nursery where thet grew
but what is left for two strong Skeiths
with nothing else to do?
They built mightly castles, of course
and sat themselves in the throne
Brave King Skarl had his castle
and King Hagan had his own
Meridell of red and blue
and Brightvale of green and white
and still, though no one knew the reason,
they continued to fight
That's the story of the kings
Strong, brave and mannishly
but though they are said to be mighty
They seem more like kids to me

Wise Old King Hagan
By Jiaqichesmok
Brimming with wisdom that knows no bounds
A regal Skeith who in Brightvale is found
This old King will give you a grade
Submit your knowledge and let it be weighed
King Hagan will tell you how high you truly stood
Among the ranks of the bad and the good
Do you have the courage to share?
The courage to inform, do you really dare?
Be brave and try out, he may give you a prize
Depending on the mark, you may be surprised
All he really wants is for you to be bright
So you may expand and spread your inner light.
You should cherish his presence
And celebrate his wit
His cleverness has motivated many, you must admit!
His wish is for you to be inspired and learn
Really, your intelligence is his greatest concern.
Entrust him with your schooling,
And you won't be let down
His fame and outstanding brainpower is renowned!
Enter the castle today and see what it'll bring-
Praise for Old Hagan, the powerful king!

All About Skeiths
By Jamloljam
Skeiths are Neopets worth to honour,
although you have to feed them every hour.
But remember, Skeiths don't like cheese,
it will give them the Neezles guaranteed.
Skeiths are fat and look a little bit clumsy,
but besides that they can be very friendly.
For all I know, these Neopets are the most laziest,
but they're also one of the strongest.
So I suggest you don't make a Skeith angry,
because they're always feeling hungry.
Therefore it's possible
That you turn up on their menu
and then they wouldn't mind eating you.
Skeiths are also one of the largest Neopets,
so make sure you don't owe some debts.
Because they will eat you broke,
and I'm telling you that's no joke.
Skeiths possess a "mean look",
and would even enjoy eating a book.
That's why Skeiths are well-known
For their great appetite,
cause they would eat everything
from dung to a kite.
They will even eat an item from your inventory,
that can be a paintbrush or just some candy.
So you always have to put an eye on your Neopet,
and make sure he follows your rules
and won't forget
all the things you ever taught him.
Happy Skeith day!

Money Hungry
By Anjie
Golden sheen alights the room,
The coins do tower high.
Within the treasury's strong walls,
Such riches, in supply.
Snargan counts each tiny point,
And subtracts every cent.
Recording gold that comes his way,
And every dime that's spent.
A different type of Hungry Skeith,
Of food, he shall not dream.
Neopoints, does Snargan want,
All things that glow and gleam.
Fangs seem dim, a yellow tone,
And greedy are his eyes.
Dreams of riches only matched,
By Skeith's large hulking size.
The Treasurer doth pass his days,
Lost in a practised game.
Toss the coin and take a chance,
Then winnings, may you claim!
With gnarled claw he flips the gold,
It spins up in the air.
Is the game a trick, you ask?
But no! This Skeith plays fair!
Take a gamble, play his game,
Who knows what you might win?
The greedy Skeith does flip a coin,
His face fixed in snide grin.
When day draws to a final close,
He lumbers through the halls.
Even when his work is done,
The gold to him, still calls.

Skeith Day Blues
By Buffylemon
Oh Skeith Day,
how I waited for you.
Counting the days,
'till you came my way.
One week to go,
very little time you know.
Six days hooray!
you'll soon be my way.
Check off day five,
you're almost mine.
Day four goes too slow,
but think you're almost home!
My heart skips a beat,
three days 'till I feast!
Day two, there it goes,
oh boy one to go!
Tomorrow is almost here,
I can't believe what I hear!
Chant along with me,
One day 'till I'm free!
Skeith Day! It's today!
Time to celebrate!
Party all day and dance all night,
eat all you can 'till there's no food in sight.
The day is done,
Skeith day is gone,
Time to start counting again.
Oh Skeith day, 365 days till then...
