Dreams
By Inkita_star

Once in Neopia
There lived a Kyrii small
His home was in the desert
Though his heart was not at all

He yearned to taste the ocean
To sail across the seas
But he could not cross the desert
So his dreams were not to be

Once in Neopia
There lived a Shoyru old
He'd trekked through lands uncharted
And possessed a heart of gold

He saw the peaks and valleys
Across the world he roamed
But in the end, his last desire
Was only to go home

Once in Neopia
There lived a lady fair -
Queen of all the faeries
With a beauty ever rare

She longed to leave the castle
And explore what lay beyond
But bound was she as royalty
To happiness long gone

Once in Neopia
There lived a Uni vain
Born with everything to have
And yet one wish remained

She longed to be a princess
With power above all
But she'd not a drop of royal blood
And so her dream must fall

Once in Neopia
There lived an Eyrie kind
He had one daughter and one son
Though worry plagued his mind

He wanted to be wealthy
Then the young ones would be fed
But he had no more to give them
So he fed them dreams instead

There are dreams in Neopia
Desires good and bad
A story lies 'neath every one
Some merry, many sad

And even when our hope is lost
All we need to do
Is remember what's inside our hearts
And dreams just might come true.

The Millionth Millionaire
(The Ballad of a Ridiculously Lucky Dude)

By Voldemorts_evil_spy

I was meandering down Munny Street,
Just looking at the shops.
Such marvelous magical items!
So many, so merry, so neat!

I saw a shop that caught my eye,
It was called the Mumsy Minnow.
I walked right in to look around,
At the items laid in a row.

My foot had crossed the threshold,
When I stopped and had to stare.
Lights were flashing in my eyes,
There was confetti everywhere!

A catchy song was playing,
And I declare I froze.
When the cheery shopkeeper saunter up,
And bounced upon my toes!

"You're our millionth customer,"
He cried with jubilant glee.
"So you get a million Neopoints,
And it's absolutely FREE!"

Just then another whispered in his ear,
And he bounced again to say,
"You're the MILLIONTH millionaire!
Today's your lucky day!

You get a million millions!"
The shopkeeper declared.
The pet who was behind me,
Just gaped and at me glared.

I was so shocked I couldn't move,
I was frozen where I stood.
And so thus ends the ballad,
Of a ridiculously lucky dude.

The Blank Paper
By Psychopsam

I look at paper in the light,
The sheet is blank, the page is white.
I stare at it in endless spite,
For there is nothing left to write!

No ideas come to me,
The muse does not feel sympathy.

I look around for inspiration,
I use my vast imagination,
I search for cheer, joy, and elation,
But I don't feel a sensation.

No ideas come to me,
The muse does not feel sympathy.

Crossly I start to quickly pace
As my mind begins to race
To that golden poem place,
But I cannot find this place.

For I am out, I have run dry,
A dreary tear comes to my eye,
I have no ideas that can fly
And soar high up into the sky.

I look down and walk away,
My desk left in quite disarray.
There's nothing to do but to say,
"I will not write a poem today."

No ideas come to me,
The muse does not feel sympathy.

The Rainbow Pool
By Thewhitedragonrider

Dancing in the colors,
Swirling like the sun,
Dancing in the silver moonlight,
Singing songs not sung.

Look my little darling!
You wanted to be Fire,
Now you're strong, and filled with flames,
Now I watch as you battle.

Look my little princess,
Filled with the sun you are,
Now to reflect your inner core,
Your rainbow through and through!

Now you, dear, are a faerie,
You flutter in the sky,
You sing and laugh, and dance and play,
As joyfully you fly.

Although you may not know it,
The Rainbow Pool's for you,
Show the world who your pet really is,
So that you can know it too.

The Fall of Lord Darigan
By Hebdenhippy

Roaring flames doth burn the land,
The land where once was life,
A mighty tower looming tall,
The power here is rife.

Floating high above the clouds,
Where storms doth come and go.
Yonder town on land so soft,
Sits Meridell below

The battle rages night and day,
And never peace doth come.
Lord Darigan will never cease,
'Till battle be it won.

The cries and screams he doth not hear,
They matter not to him.
He'll lock them up without a word,
Determined he to win.

But victory he doth not see,
As battle draws to end.
Lord Darigan his spirit crushed,
And never shall it mend.
