A Day of Mischief

When April 1st
Rolls around,
The air is fresh,
There's a brand new sound.

Pranks blow up
Right in your face
Why, if you don't play along,
You'd be just a disgrace!

Party stores and joke shops,
They are all sold out!
You better get your tricks quite fast,
They'll be gone without a doubt!

April showers
Bring May flowers.
Inside the clean-freaks
Will all cower.

Sticky messes
Are all around,
Blowing buzzers
Can you hear the sound?

Presents open,
A Spyder jumps out!
People scream,
Here them shout!

April is the celebration
Of the winter that's passed us by,
April 1st is a good-natured time,
You'll never see someone cry.

April first,
Is a day of fun,
Don't worry my friend,
It's just begun!

The pranksters snigger,
As they wait for their day,
They just can't wait
To shout and say,

April Fools!

Trickery at the Lunar Temple

Filtering, the golden strands,
To separate the mist.
Through the temple's ancient doors,
The light doth wane and twist.
There before the moon could rise,
Three Gnorbus worked quite fast.
To plan a trick, the grandest scheme,
To never be surpassed!

Oh, the master would be fooled!
They giggled as they moved.
Glass from telescopes was found,
And quickly then, removed.
They rimmed the lens in blackest soot,
And smugly, put it back!
When the master watched the moon,
His eye would rim with black!

The three students all shared a smirk,
So smug in their success!
This April Fools, the laugh was theirs,
This trick showed such finesse!
One did glance down at his hooves,
Wide open, his eyes flew!
The telescope had stained their hooves
With something bright and blue!

Laughter came amid the gasps,
The master did emerge.
Too wise to smirk, and yet it seemed,
He lingered on the verge!
"It's just a potion!" did he cry,
"The April fools, that's you!"
One could say the student's day
Did turn out rather blue!

Jelly World? Really?

You will not believe the place that I've been
You will not believe the sights that I've seen
Oh, your jaws will drop when I tell you
That I've been to Jelly World! Yes, it is true!
Of all my life 'twas the greatest surprise
To walk beneath those quivering skies
Jelly orange and jelly green
And their very own Jelly World Yooyuball team!
Like the Giant Omelette, a great jelly mound
And everywhere the squishy sound
Of jelly gooshing all around!
I saw towers with domes and buildings tall
Made of sweet sticky jelly! All of them! All!

My friend, at your story I do nothing but giggle.
A place where the very earth is a-jiggle?
Where a heavy Skeith could bounce like a Quiggle?
A world made of desserts that wiggle?
No Jelly World is only a legend or myth

My friend, I tell you, I've been to a place with
Jelly games
And jelly rains
Jelly queeens
And jelly beans
Jelly seas
And jelly trees
Jelly skies
Like jelly pies
The panorama of jelly
Astonished my eyes!

And when my exploration came to an end
I rushed home to tell you about it, my friend
Of the place made with jelly the colors of jewels

Really? Truly?

April Fools?

Knock! Knock! Knock!
Upon Amy's door,
What might her friends,
Have in store?

For this poor Usul,
She's timid and scared.
She knows oh too well,
The mischief to be shared.

It's the first of the month,
That is April the first.
All she can do
Is expect the worst.

For in the past,
Her friends have been mean.
Shaving her fur,
And painting her green.

As they open the door,
Amy's smile arises.
Because this year, my friend,
She's the one with surprises.

It opens with a creak,
A crash, splash and a bang,
As a bucket of water
Falls down on the gang.

"Ha-ha-ha!"
Cries the Usul in a jest.
"This year, my friends,
My prank was the best!"
