KACHEEK DAY SPECIAL
The Kacheek in the Flower Patch
By Plooot
Way out in the meadow
Full of sweet flowers
Kacheeks fill their noses
With sweet smells for hours
Petals hover in air
Above one Kacheek's head
Floating down softly
On a soft flowerbed
The Kacheek listens to a song with no words
Sung by the flowers, but cannot be heard
The tune tickles your ears
And dusts your cheeks
This tune is only heard by the Kacheeks
The flowers also dance with the breeze
With the flowers around
A Kacheek's easy to please
Just to sit back and relax
Stretch out your toes
Touch with your hands
And smell with your nose
A Kacheek may get sleepy
And fall in a deep slumber
And dream of the flowers
In such a great number

Savoring Kacheeps
By Wingspurr
All six of them, with colors gold
Made from a charming Kacheek mold
Are my pleasure to behold as they
Stand.
They stare at me with eyes so small
My taste buds they will soon enthrall
Each of the candies, one and all will soon be
Mine.
Their little bodies, so petite
I know that they will taste so sweet
These wonders make my life
Complete cause they're so
Good.
Tiny yellow paws reach out to me
My soul is melting out of glee
I'm happy in my entirety for just this
Time.
I cannot stand this anymore
My stomach's growling seems to roar
The growing need I can't ignore has reached the
Point.
With a calm and gentle touch
I grab it in a fingered clutch
The suspense is just too much, I think as I
Wait.
And now, the moment I await
Has finally reached the time and date
This candy now will meet its fate, and I am
Glad.
I eat the first and best Kacheep
My heart and soul begin to leap
The taste is all so pure, so deep! And now it's
Gone.

The Farmer
By Reggieman721
A humble farmer long ago
Rose early every day,
To tend his simple plot of land
And harvest wheat and hay.
This young Kacheek had such a skill
For growing fruit from seed,
That produce from his simple farm
Fulfilled his every need.
However, it was not his fate
To live just on his farm.
One day the nearby townsfolk's fields
Began to suffer harm.
Their stalks were drooped,
Their leaves were dry,
Their food supply was low.
Their plants did need a gentle hand
To raise and help them grow.
So this Kacheek was called upon
To leave his simple life,
And save his fellow Neopets
From famine, fear, and strife.
With simple herb and water can,
Young Florin saved the day.
But when he came back to his farm,
His crops had died away.
But Florin's deed had reached the ear
Of Altador, the grand,
Who asked the modest farmer to
Help oversee his land.
And so, a young and simple Neopet
Named Florin came to be
A guardian of Altador,
Marked down in history.

The Ballad of a Kacheek Named Samrin
By Rhiannonleigh1979
Little fleecy Babaa sheep
Close your eyes in easy sleep
I will guard until you wake
Balthazar will never make
It past this brave Kacheek!
Doglefox, so warm and small
Playing with your Petpet ball
I'll make sure you're safe and sound
When Balthazar comes back around
My guard will never fall.
Friendly Noil, be at ease
That evil Lupe will never seize
A single strand of golden mane
Though he will try to, all the same
I'll bring him to his knees.
Angelpuss, enjoy the day
Do not let fear impede your play
Samrin loves you boundlessly
And I will never let you be
That wicked creature's prey.
In sun, in rain, in snowy gale
No matter what, I will prevail
You are my most beloved herd
So long as I am your shepherd
That Balthazar will fail!

The Grey Kacheek
By Peanut02395
I'm sitting all alone down here,
By the well with little fish,
And when it's raining oh so soft,
I make a little wish.
Please let me make some friends today,
Who'll love me all the time,
Please let the sun come out today,
So that its beams may shine.
Please let the fishies talk to me,
So that I'm not so sad,
And please let me be happy again,
That wouldn't be so bad.
The rain, it drips, it plips and plops,
The fish swim 'round and 'round,
But not a single friend is here,
The fish make not a sound.
I have no companion to give me a hug,
I'm miserable and bleak,
The clouds hang low over my head,
A lonesome Grey Kacheek.
