Vagabond By maplestarre

i was rudely abandoned
so here i sit in the alleys of neopia
eating bitten red apples and slices of moldy bread.
sleeping in a trash can and dreaming of
hot soup
the battledome
a blanket
but what i dream of most often is a good owner.
i live on the streets.
i am a vagabond.

The Soup Faerie By snoopy21300

She ladles out bowls of nourishment,
Smiling, ever smiling,
At the desperately poor pets,
Who receive, and murmur, "Thanks,"
She wonders about them.
Are their owners
Spending too much money on Dice-A-Roo?
Or are they just poor?
As the pets file in and out,
They look back
At the smiling Faerie ladling soup,
A ray of sunshine in their world.

Night of the Wild Shoyru By dragonsnow

In the wild existence
of all icy Neopia
she captures the wind
and chases the light
savoring each breath,
and enjoying each moment.
Like wildhearts do
when their spirit is free.
She rampages at night
when the sunlight turns dark
the beast within her
runs free without boundries.
Until the sun rises
Neopia is hers
the shadows and darkness
are her personal escorts
as she rules the night,
Neopia's night.

A Good Example By dire18

I can see their eyes,
The admiration shining bright.
I try to do my best to win the fight.
I try to live up to their expectations,
For they look up to me.
But, try as I might, I just can't.
The Aisha is too strong,
And I lose at The Battledome.
"Don't worry," says my owner.
She loves me anyway.
But, I can't look into the other's eyes,
Because I failed them.
I wish I was the strong hero they made me out to be,
Asnarius, Glacien, and Elipuse.
As oldest, I want to do everything for them,
But sometimes I can't.
I glance into Elipuse's green eyes,
But I see no resentment, shame or anger.
I see love, respect, and admiration.
She doesn't care that I'm not the strongest.
I smile and she smiles back.
I guess it's not the one who wins the fight.
It's the one who tries their best,
And the one who has heart.
Looking into those three pairs of eyes,
I think, maybe, just maybe,
I did set a good example.

Flying Eyrie By magan12

This Flying Eyrie...
it soars into the beautiful, blue skies.
Flying over the plains,
where the Kaus roam in the pastures.
It flies over high mountains,
where Lupes enjoy walking around.
This Flying Eyrie...
it flies even higher,
until it reaches the clouds,
where beautiful Faeries flutter around.
It flies into the forests,
where the mighty Kougras live.
This Flying Eyrie...
It is sure to live the greatest life.
