Neopias Villains Greet The New Year

Clock had ticked, the year was done,
Neopia was still.
The new year came, the pets did cheer,
The party, such a thrill!

Almost everyone was there,
No villains were allowed.
No evil creatures cheering out,
No monsters in the crowd.

Sloth in space did smile and laugh,
"New year!" They heard him say.
"Another time held just for me,
Appreciation day!"

Vira smirked, new days would come,
More challengers to haunt.
Pant Devil saw much time ahead,
And people he could taunt!

The shadow Usul, in the dark,
Did give an eerie grin.
A new year's worth of items came,
The stealing would begin!

Hubrid Nox and Count Von Roo
Did celebrate that night.
The more days in the future meant,
The more folks they could bite!

Meuka cried, "A brand new year!"
This was his cherished time.
A new year's resolution made,
"More victims, I will slime!"

Spider Grundo laughed so loud,
(As wicked creatures do!)
Remember, all the nasty things
Will be here next year, too!

Fireworks on Terror Mountain

Sparks of amber, glowing bright,
A tinge of silver lights the sky,
Golden gleam that blinds your sight,
They shimmer on this winter night.

Whistling followed by a bang!
Echoes all the way to Faerieland,
And every Neopet stops to stare,
With opened mouths, they watch the flare.

Against the night, a shroud so dark,
A mass of glitter rivals the stars,
It all began with a tiny spark,
Ballooning into a radiant charm.

Some flash once and dissipate,
While others linger on instead,
Filling the sky like shining paint,
A portrait of breath-taking display.

Do not once take your eyes away,
For some fireworks won't fail to amaze:
A sudden burst of glistening blue
Takes the form of a smiling Lupe.

All too soon, the last twinkle is gone,
And bedazzled Neopets sigh, forlorn,
But come next year this mountain top
Will yet be filled with wondrous awe.
