The Air Faerie's Dance
By B_e_n_d_i_s

Fragile lips
Frosted fingers
An icy breath
Freezing upon
My window

Twinkling eyes
Slit, glowing evil
A wicked smile
Adorning its face
Wings flutter

Fog shrouds
Ground grows cold
A laughing tinkle
Piercing my heart
The air faeries have

Come out to play

Icy dresses
Covering tinged blue
Bosoms, delicate
Beautiful, smiling lips
Dance in the snow

A chilling presence
Crowd around the pane
Breathing their icy breaths
Dancing their dance
Cackling their laughs

A shower of snow

I Made My House
By Yoshimitsu33

I made my house of cardboard,
And money I did save,
The rain soaked through
And then I knew
That I had been a knave.

I made my house of straw,
An inexpensive route,
But it did itch
And made me twitch
So I gave it the boot.

I made my house of twigs,
And I thought I wouldn't goof,
But all of the birdies
Flocked in the thirties
And nested beneath my roof.

I made my house of wood,
It was sturdy as could be,
But then my Neopet
Did a splinter get
So no houses made of trees.

I made my house of transparishield,
I pooled my money, combined it,
Invincible,
Invisible,
Once built we could not find it.

An Earth Faerie
By Songful

When morning sheds its shining hue
And gold lights highest peak;
With daybreak comes the sun anew --
A vivid, blazing streak.

With sunrise wake all caught in sleep --
The treetops mildly sway;
Light winds through still skies fall and sweep
In hailing of the day.

And she amid her grasslands fair
Observes with pure delight;
As deft with youth and free of care
She soars in graceful flight.

No sorrow has she to recall
As leaves around her sing;
And all around winds rise and fall
Around each pointed wing.

A child of nature, free and blithe
About tall plants she whirls;
Petite of stature, small and lithe
Upon cool air she twirls.

And through the day continues she
To dance up in the sky;
As shadow springs from burdened tree
And night falls swift and spry.

A Meridellian Trio
OR
Be Careful What You Buy In Meridell

By _Strabo_

Behold the ugly Ganuthor,
its manners are obscene.
Anyone who'd heard one snore
would quickly sell the Ganuthor,
abandon that poor Ganuthor,
in hopes of sound waves clean.

Oh, watch the feathered Crokabek,
for dangers well disguised.
If you are on a forest trek,
beward of spying Crokabek,
yes, dangerous little Crokabek,
if your good health you prize.

The pleasant little Whinny
would not seem to be of harm.
Its manners light and silly,
but there's something rather chilly,
in the way that every Whinny
looks with hunger at your arm.

Illusen of Meridell
By Anjie

Dawn shall wash on Meridell,
And bathe the land in sheen,
The glow shall trickle over hills,
And into glade so green.

Within the dappled emerald shade,
A faerie, small of form.
Wakes upon the first bird call,
And greets the day so warm.

Illusen, fair, of fragile wings,
Has risen from her rest.
A brand new day, and many come,
Each hoping for a quest.

The gentle faerie tells each pet,
An item, they must bring,
But meet her time demands, or else!
(You might not get a thing!)

The foe of faeries dark of heart,
Each quest is soon in motion,
Rewards fine, from cookies sweet,
To costly honey potion!

A generous soul, and now and then,
For those who lack in greed,
She might turn up, and give a gift,
And please all those in need!

Beyond the castle, past the hill,
Where many roll their cheese.
Find that glade, where silken wings,
Dance softly in the breeze.
