WOCKY DAY SPECIAL
The Desert Wockies
By Kushbi
Scorching, sizzling, sweltering heat,
Such is ground beneath your feet,
Arid, dusty desert air,
Leaves you parched everywhere.
Yet this land of endless sand
Is home to some with soot black hair:
The desert Wockies, a chummy band,
Have pitched a tent in great Sakhmet.
Enjoying cuisine of sandy grains,
Reading scrolls of curse and flame,
Lugging a Scarabug along,
Bursting loud in desert song,
These friends whose eyes are lined with kohl,
Share camaraderie cast in gold.
At dawn they wake to bright sunlight,
At dusk, chill ushers in dark night.
But furry coat they each possess,
Keeps them warm for vital rest.
In their dreams are desert lands:
The bustle of city Sakhmet,
The curious new Qasalan shops,
With intricately designed clay pots.
Who else but them can understand
The attraction of life in desert land?

MAGAX: Destroyer
By xx_crying_inside_xx
A glint in baneful light of moon--
Stalking through the gravestones strewn,
As magic old from tainted hand,
Raises dead straight from the land.
Hidden foe now waits in dark,
This ghost that rose from coffin stark.
He sees his prey and knows no fear,
As he attacks with purpose clear.
Response as quick as deadly gale,
The tides now change -- the minions fail.
And evil resides now again,
But memories in the battle slain.
For now the dawn brings light set fair,
Breaking bonds of deep despair,
But one remains and flees for now,
But soon shall pay, that is a vow.
Armed with imbued steel of might,
Hunting spirits in the night.
To combat evil with intent pure,
Or maybe not, who can be sure?

The Faerie Wocky Cloud Dance
By Anjie
Along the whisper of the breeze,
And winding through the air,
Fragile wings, two silken sheaths,
A creature that's most rare.
Duel wings of softest, gentle sheen,
Each color catches light,
They glitter, rose and beige in tone
And guide her through her flight.
The fingers of the cooling wind,
Through soft pink fur, do comb,
Its gloss as soft as clouds themselves,
Which 'round her, drift and roam.
Upon the passage of the skies,
Shall Faerie Wocky dance.
She'll rule her domain of the clouds,
And over stars, she'll prance.
A gentle smile, dreamy gaze,
Each soft, small paw, so light,
She'll trace the patterns of the sun,
And whirl past stars, so bright.
A regal creature, blessed with wings,
In cotton clouds, she'll play,
So glance on up, and see her dance
Upon this Wocky day!

MAGAX
By xThewrongx
Centuries before he was
Neopia's greatest threat,
But now, he has changed,
And he must pay off his debt.
He guards the graves vigilantly
To make sure no one gets inside,
But his sole purpose is to stop it,
The horror that still resides.
Magax had once strayed to darkness,
Obtaining unlimited power.
He strayed so far, before he realised
That darkness could devour.
He pulled out at the last moment,
His heart full of remorse.
Using the power darkness gave him,
He finished off the dark source.
But he knew that it would not truly die,
And it was only just alive.
Centuries passed and the time has come,
He would once again revive.
He summons the undead beneath
And his loyal servants four.
He surveys the betrayer with utmost disgust,
Hubrid Nox is back once more.

Wocky Lullaby
By Laurelinden
Howl on, summer wind,
Upon the window panes!
Moan through the tree-tops
And rustle the branches,
Whisper and crackle
As the green dances!
For my Wocky is safe;
Sleep now, little one,
Sleep, Wocky.
Fall on, autumn rain,
Upon the roof-tops!
Pound onto concrete
And flood through the grasses,
Torrent and thunder
In blue-colored masses!
For my Wocky is safe;
Sleep now, little one,
Sleep, Wocky.
Swirl on, winter snow,
Layer the world!
Fall on dead grasses
And whiten the earth,
Gust on and blow
In cold wicked mirth!
For my Wocky is safe;
Sleep now, little one,
Sleep, Wocky.
Dream of the spring,
Of the opening buds.
Think of the sun
And the softening mud.
Dream now, little one,
Dream, Wocky.
