BORI DAY SPECIAL

Brave Armin
By Numbertwelve

The Ice Caves are a most treacherous place,
Where only the bravest dare explore,
Marked by vast ceiling-less caverns,
And naught but slick ice lining the floor.

But this is a place of great treasure we're told,
Wherein the adventures of Armin unfold,
Covered in thick furs to keep out the cold,
Where others would cower,
Young Armin grows bold.

With Hannah nearby; a sprightly young lass,
Armin delves to the Ice Caves' harsh depths,
His powerful claws tearing new paths,
Where no other would dare to travel.

And though many a foe may greet the pair,
It is not in their nature to turn tail and run,
Where other Neopians flee in despair,
Armin the Bori shall go seeking fun!

For this is a place of great treasure we've heard,
And so visage stoic, not saying a word,
One Bori defies those who'd call him absurd,
For where others find nothing,
Armin is sure,
That a treasure abounds,
In the treacherous Ice Caves,
Leagues below the frozen ground.

Why the Bori Left
By Kushbi

He came from Terror Mountain top,
And never knew life without snow,
Yet this long journey did he make,
Plodding along on winding road,
Searching, seeking a new abode.

It wasn't his plan to leave his home,
A log house surrounded by slopes of ice,
Where wind could blow right through the bones,
And made him shiver against his will,
But how endearing was the chill!

Growing up in freezing cold,
This Bori was used to numbing frost,
His favourite time of the whole year,
Was catching snowflakes as they fell,
And on his paws they dwelt and melted.

However one day, for vanity's sake,
He spent all his gold on a fiery brush.
To be a fearsome hue of orange and red,
He coloured himself a blazing flame,
Not knowing life would never be the same.

All around him snow would melt,
No more slushy ground to plod on,
Never would frost survive near him.
With heat emanating from deep inside,
This Bori was now a pariah of ice.

He sadly journeys far and wide,
For a warmer home to stay,
With no more melting mocking snow.
And in his heart a tinge of regret,
Mourns the loss of wintry days.

Armin, Armin the Small
By Sparkly_fairy_dust

As Bori Day fast approaches,
I want somebody to inspire,
I'd like to think of a Bori hero --
Someone that I can admire.

Who's been through everything?
And come out at the other end?
Whose lived to tell their tale to us,
On them we can depend.

Who has risked their life?
Yet lived to fight another day?
When all the others have given up,
Who has found a way?

That is why this Bori Day,
There's someone I must mention,
Whose efforts to help out Hannah
Have really caught my attention!

What's that name I do recall?
Who can't help but to awe and enthrall?
Come on now -- stand up tall!
It's Armin, Armin the Small!

Atop the highest peak of cold,
As snowflakes spin and swirl.
There is a one who works all day,
His talents now unfurl.

Striking hammer in perfect beat,
Fixing here and there.
Up in a winter wonderland,
Keeps secrets none shall share.

Bring him all the useless junk,
And with a bargained price,
He'll repair it till it's good as new,
No damage -- rip or slice.

Tools of mechanical skill
Lay scattered all around.
Each one shall have its time,
When its perfect job is found.

This Bori alone upon the peak,
A talented little thing--
Mending all the broken toys,
With only joy to bring.

Great To Be a Bori
By Creeposaurus

We are the Bori,
Look at our claws,
Smarter than most,
Better diggers than all.
Got buried treasure?
Go on, call on us!
We'll dig it out in a jiff
And minus the fuss.

Remember Armin the Small?
Hannah's little friend?
I bet he would dug through dirt, ice, and snow
If they were in a dead end.

The Keeper of Time he sat patiently
As his people were in eternal sleep,
Boy that must take lots of patience,
And very strong promise to keep.

Yes we Bori make very good pals,
Hopefully you'll meet one soon,
Because you never know when you'll fall in a hole
And you'd need us to dig you through!
