Pets' Play
By Silverfairy
On a blustery, balmy, summer's day
My Poogle friend and I go out to play.
The empty boxes of Neoflakes?
A pirate ship it surely makes!
He becomes the loyal first mate,
And I? The captain, by no mistake!
The Maraquan seas are dangerously
Full of monsters and mysteries.
So 'tis no surprise when Poogle and I
Encountered the hideous octopi!
Avast! They climbed themselves aboard
I had no choice but draw the sword.
Battling tricky armies of eight
The number of arms I couldn't equate.
I fought them squarely one by one
As no brave Koi would ever run!
So soon I managed to defeat them all
But no victory yet! I heard a call...
My Poogle friend was on the plank
Tied down firmly, oh poor Frank!
My trusty sword slashed his ties,
But suddenly darkness filled the skies.
Rain peltered down onto the ship
Most unfortunately, overboard I slipped!
And then my owner saves the day;
She looks at me in a funny way --
"Stop rolling on the ground, my dear.
And put down that stick, it's time for tea!"
So ends another adventurous play
We even had octopus for tea that day.

The Ghost Lupe
By The_alleycat
Slinking, slithering
Through the night,
Winding, withering
Those in sight,
Keeping to the shadows black,
Ghostly green from head to back,
Deep red eyes, full of hate,
To the one who put him in this state.
Looking through him isn't hard,
Gliding through the darkened yard,
Stay inside!
I beg you to,
Because he's always watching you.
Keeping low,
Close to the ground,
Moaning as he prowls around,
Come dawn, come light!
All through the night!
Wishing, hoping, never sleeping,
But then you see him saddened, weeping.

The Uni and the Kyrii
By Spongebobfan484
As the desert sun rests upon miles of sand
A blue Uni gallops -- cheery,
White mane flying, sand clouds following,
It whinnies to its rider, a Kyrii.
His cloak billows, black as night,
Gold bracelets reflect the sun
A triumphant smile plays on his face
The adventure has just begun.
As the sun disappears behind the horizon
A gust of wind whips past.
Whinnies and laughter ring through the air
A moment that won't last.
The Uni transforms, the Kyrii's eyes change,
Both sport evil smiles.
The red Kyrii now has piercing red eyes,
The Uni -- now, it's got style!
Rotting torn bandages have replaced its skin,
Covering a 200-year-old soul.
Fire dances freely on its hooves
Acting as if they were coal.
Both now have piercing red eyes
Slashing through the night
With one last whinny, the Uni gallops away
A terrifying sight.

The Grey Faerie: An Ode
By Laurelinden
How bleak your puff-eyed gaze, forlorn and faded,
As you peer at a sky beyond your touch;
How emptied of hope -- how dulled and jaded!
Wistful glances to the stars you miss so much.
Grey you're called, as the clouds before the rain,
Teeming heavy 'till their sorrows overflow
And pour in blinding roars upon the land
Drumming down to soak the grass below
Until the soggy marshes match their pain--
Such hues tint your cheek and pallid hand.
But, Faerie, oh! Gaze not upon the clouds
And curse your wingless shoulders for their lack!
Around the new-wet grass is dew-drop bowed;
The air is light with scent of blooming lilac!
The stars that wheel above are silver-fair,
But from your perch upon an earthen hill
Their twinkling lights fill up the domed sky
In a sight more dazzlingly wond'rous still
Than the lonely light a closer star can share
As it circles in its winged flight so high.

Halls of Fyora
By Songful
In tower set beyond the skies
Above the reach of searching eyes --
A turret of which little know
Looks down on city far below.
A place of wonders it may seem
Flung far beyond the wildest dream
As beauty thrives within and out
And magic blossoms all about.
A palace quiet and unseen --
Serves as a dome for Faerie Queen;
As secret crafts inside are wrought
While special charms within are sought.
And from her tower she looks down --
The Queen of city far renown;
The bearer of the sacred crown
Enfolded by her violet gown.
To others she does not compare,
Whilst to the noble she is fair;
The majesty of rule and might --
Fear he who dares her wrath incite!
