Arnold the Mynci

"Step right up," Arnold beckons,
A sly smile on his face.
"Test your strength, and on the high score tables
I'm sure you'll likely place!"

Then he watches as the Neopets lose
Again and again and again.
"Oh, too bad," he says with a chuckle,
"Why not come back later then!"

This is how Arnold makes his Neopoints,
By telling many a lie.
He knows this game can't be won,
But still the Neopets continue to try.

But still, could there be even a chance
Of winning the jackpot at all?
Well, maybe, but one must keep in mind,
This chance is very, very small.

So for now, Arnold is smiling,
For he's got this game in the bag.
He's happy he's become rich
Because others' luck seems to lag.

A World of Myncies

Myncies are bold, and Myncies are free.
To get a banana they climb up a tree.

There are Mynci cards and a Mynci game,
Best known at volleyball for their careful aim.

Mynci books and Mynci treats,
To which everyone but the Mynci eats.

A day at the beach, as waves lap the shore,
A volleyball's served over the net and it soars...

Higher and higher, but it begins to descend...
And... BAM! It's sent flying yet again.

Agility and balance make them great for a pet;
They climb 'round the treetops as quick as a jet.

What would we do if Myncies did not exist?
If they were not here, not here in our midst?

Would Neopia be oh-so-bleak?
Would our plains be empty, our jungles weak?

We may never know, but one thing's for sure;
Myncies are here, their entity is pure.

Mynci Beach Volleyball

Two Myncies resting in the sand,
One eating bananas, the other getting tanned.
The beach is teeming with tropical sun,
So the tanned one says, "Let's have some fun!"

They plant two poles in the sun-bleached ground,
Then with a strip of net the poles are crowned.
They retrieve a ball from a hut by the shore,
Then begin their game in the great outdoors.

Both Myncies play with extraordinary skill,
It's a Mynci thing, it gives them thrill.
The ball bounces and bounds
And vaults off their heads,
It ricochets over the poles and net threads.

Myncies rule the volleyball court.
No Pawkeet nor Turdle
Could cut their serves short.
When they're not eating bananas
Or getting tanned,
Myncies reign over the sport played on sand!

Valin the Thief

Valin the thief is quiet and quick,
And he works for the secret Thieves Guild.
He steals and he lies, he'll play any trick,
And won't leave 'till his pockets are filled.

With your trinkets and jewels, Neopoints too,
Then he escapes with his precious cargo.
It's rare that you'll see him running past you,
Don't chase him, you are much too slow.

Before you see him arrive, he's already past,
And did anyone see him go?
No one can catch him, he's always too fast,
How did one little Mynci stoop so low?

His dream is to stand at Galem's right hand,
Giving orders to all their evil crew,
Then one day take over the entire thieves' band,
And to him they'll be loyal and true.

Until then he sticks to what he loves best,
Separating you from your wealth,
So pray you never encounter this Mynci pest,
Meeting him could be bad for your health!
