Hannah's Quest
By Tree_rhymer

In the treacherous depths of an icy tomb,
Below where the Mountain of Terror does loom,
Comes Hannah, the heroine, escaping the grave,
And fighting for the Bori she must save.

On ground slicked with ice, a slippery path,
Running to flee from vile Kanrik's wrath,
Hannah and Armin, friends good and true,
The Ice Caves are waiting for me and for you.

Avoid the sharp rocks with a jump and a leap,
And the only reward is the life you will keep.
Arrows fly straight, but look to see where,
One might fly back, so you must beware.

Boulders are helpful, unless you're below,
Then they can come as a terrible blow.
Monsters of all kinds you cannot miss,
Good luck to you if you've survived this!

Gather the gems and all of the gold,
You'll never get tired; it never gets old.
With Armin to help we must fight our way out,
And stop Galem's evil, see what that's about.

Join Hannah the Usul on quests for the right
Through the Ice Caves, a remarkable sight,
Below where the Mountain of Terror does loom,
In the treacherous depths of an icy tomb.

The Brain Tree
By College_chix26

Searching for answers that no one can find,
Racking the deepest parts of your mind,
We're searching for answers,
Why are they longed for?
If they are found they will open the door
To a great life of wisdom,
That no one can have.

There must be somewhere answers can be found,
Searching the sky and below on the ground,
Then we discovered a face where not seen before,
Searching for food was the Esophagor.
He was so hungry we wanted to help,
Then we were asked to bring him some kelp.

We searched high and low and kelp we did find,
This Esphagor was playing our mind,
He gave us the answer to our ongoing quest,
Finally our minds we could lay to rest.

A Chia's Bravado
By Kushbi

Ionana the Chia thought he was cool,
Brave and witty and humorous, too.
In Neopia there seemed to be no other Neopet
As gifted as him; he was too good for them.

One sunny day, when he was bored as bricks,
He ventured into the Haunted Woods for a kick.
The air there was stale and the trees looked like
Mangled grey rods attached to a spike.

Ionana was not afraid, oh not one bit.
He was looking for excitement and soon found it:
A lonely Kacheek by the name of Thade
Invited him into his castle to play.

Upon stepping inside, the gates slammed shut.
"This is the puzzle; solve it! No buts,"
Hissed Eliv Thade to Ionana who said,
"Puzzles are easy enough for my head."

But as the eerie moon grew round and bright,
The Chia could not solve it, try as he might.
The letters R – U – B – S – H – I
Taunted Ionana 'til he nearly cried.

For years he sat thinking of an answer for Thade,
While in Neopia, he was never to be seen again.

Several Anew
By Nikyu

Tintinnabulations o'er the countryside,
As Hannah's forces swell with pride.
Battered marauders no longer seek
The mighty gem under mountain's peak.

Festivals and holidays alike
Bring hearty and genuine delight.
All of those in wintry vale
Receive the Bori with much regale.

The calendar of six years past
Yields bright futures for those outcast,
And mirrored throughout the land,
Seven years of luck for seven at hand.

Snow Falls on Terror Mountain
By Laurelinden

White the sky, and white the air;
Heavy with swirling eddies of snow,
Covering over the papery remains
Of dead summer.

Blinding white reflects the light
Of purity, of silence, sound muffled;
Along the iced-over brooks, the trees,
Stillness reigns.

The mountain, for this instant, is still.
No far-off growls, no cries of fright;
No quick-shivering beast in a blanket of snow;
Peace only.

But, ah! The snow will pile,
The air will freeze, and the mountain
Will darken, snow dark-stained by shadow,
Too soon.

Not yet, not yet, still remains the peace;
This blessed instant of purity, perfection;
Quickly dissolving, but holding, remaining;
Snow-sanctuary.
