The Golden Pteri
By Sakiei

Soaring, searching, swiftly up so high,
A Pteri lets out his most golden cry,
The screech of something so keen, so aware,
Sounds of the Golden Pteri leaving his lair.

His tailfeathers golden and beautifully intertwined,
The Pteri of gold searches for one of his kind
To give out a reward one wishes to seek,
A gift so grand, so exceptional,
So very much unique.

With a flash of amber wings,
And eyes of a golden double,
The Pteri flies over Terror Mountain
And under Tyrannian rubble.

Gasps, sighs, oohs, and aahs...
All from below is heard,
The residents of Neopia, awestruck,
See the magnificent bird.

"I saw him, I swear, up in the sky!"
"He looked right at me! Right in the eye!"
And all the onlookers go on with their story,
While the Pteri sweeps the sky
In his own pure glory.

Now if you happen to have
A Pteri of your very own,
And he somehow drops by,
You'd be awfully well-known.
He might give you a prize worthy of a king,
So watch out for this wondrous flying thing!

Vira
By Dlf321

Sitting in the fields all day,
Plaiting locks of hair,
She ignored the nasty looks,
The longing, envious stares.

Too consumed by her own looks,
She never spoke a word,
Until one day she made a wish,
But the wrong ears heard.

Vanity had taken over,
She was no longer there,
Just when she had claimed her wish,
When she had no cares.

Her long and gorgeous plaited hair,
Unwound, shortened to spikes.
Her pretty looks just washed away,
As she ran into the night.

No longer will you see her
Sitting in the fields,
Making people turn like her
Is the power she now wields.

Faerieland
By Kahlanandrichard

Clouds swirl 'round a magic place,
Where no ordinary reside.
A castle rises with unspeakable grace,
Grandeur impossible to hide.

The town a setting of perfection,
The stores are images of pride,
I can commit no dereliction
To the place where my heart resides.

If one day, alas, my welcome is weathered,
Rubbed shiny by my filth and lies,
I will always remember
The time we were together,
And I will finally say goodbye.

The Thieves' Guild
By Beast_of_apedemak

We are thieves united,
Stealing wealth is our game.
Torches may be lighted,
But you cannot see us all the same.

We pickpocket, we swindle,
Our enemies' riches dwindle.
We pilfer, we steal,
Those are the cards we deal.

Jewels disappear from their hiding places,
Rubies adorn our golden shoelaces.

Really, there's nothing to fear,
In the darkness we may glare and leer,
But if you join our side,
We'll take you along for this shadowy ride;
We have many secrets to confide.

So arm yourself with a dagger and shield,
Ensure that you have weapons
To sharpen and wield,
And soon, that pesky Hannah?
Ha! Her fate is sealed.

Jhudora
By SereeKoneko1

Ice cold silence and soft moonlight
Caress the face of the dark, blessed night.
There, in a shadow, too dark to see,
Is the dreaded Jhudora, faerie.

Her lips are a horrid, nasty green,
Her hair has the most unimaginable sheen,
With locks of purple and eyes aflame,
Being evil is her only game.

Plotting against our beautiful Faerie Queen,
Yes, she really is that mean!
She's planned and pondered,
Plotted and schemed,
Good thing we have only one day in her theme!

She is a dark faerie, full of spite,
She prowls Neopia, but only at night,
If you cross her path, beware her power,
Or you may end up gone by the hour.
