Battle Duck War Cry
By Fallenist

Weapons of unequaled might,
Battlers of legend share delight!
For in this simple bathtub toy,
Lies a power of ultimate joy!

With this handy yellow duck,
Your foes will be all out of luck.
Simply give this duck a squeeze,
To bring your rivals to their knees!

Forged of evil never known,
This dark battle duck was sown.
Merely give this duck a throw,
And let the vengeance start to flow!

Frozen in an artic tub.
Give this icy duck a rub,
Just be careful not to lick.
For your tongue will surely stick!

Terror in the water lies,
Within this simple duck disguise.
Never just a child's toy,
A fierce tactic to employ!

Minions Melody
By Pinz_n_needles

Passionate purple poison
Gruesome green of greed,
Come closer to the twisted cloud
And obey Jhudora's creed.

Beauty none can yet surpass
With shimmering dark royal violet hair,
Curving wings among other things
And a menacing green-glittering glare.

Hail the queen of darkness
And fetch her what she does wish,
Say goodbye to the Neopoints
That you didn't have a chance to miss.

Build the shrine even taller
And grow purple wings of your own,
Shun the "weaker" Faeries
And the sunlight that once shone.

Obedient servant you shall listen
Looking out for your own power,
Do bad deeds and earn good things
As under your mistress you cower.

Persistant call to answer again
Of the Dark Faerie's shroud attempt,
To tear down the world of Neopia
And leave the world in discontent.

Ode to the Deserted Fairground
By Mahou_dream_dragon

Harken;
Gaze up,
When the clouds
Shadow over the moon
And screeching Korbats
Are seen flying the night sky.

Follow the silent call of the dead
To the Black Gate,
Where the winds cease and all is still
Except for the rustling
Of eerie creatures and things
That go bump in the night

Past odd shaped stones you travel
To various shops
That only appear friendly
To the demented

A lone tree
Is seen in the distance,
A dark shadow looming above it.
What is its purpose?

Up on a hill
Univitingly cold
Is a Carnival of Terror
Sending chills up your spine

Or maybe instead
You may fancy a chance
Of misfortune or riches
From the wheel that holds your fate

So do you belong
In this horrific terror lot?
Well, indeed... you're here,
Are you not?

Lost Faerie
By La_burrito_malvado

As I went upon my way
To the Isle of Mystery,
A milling mass outside a hut
Seemed passing strange to me.

I strolled on to the crowd
And tapped a Uni's wither.
I asked him what was happening,
He replied with a shiver:

"Jhuidah's gone, her doors are barred,
We can't find hair nor wing!
The traders angry, the natives afraid,
I'm afeared of rioting."

I looked and saw he spoke the truth.
Many had rage in their eyes.
So much depended on that Faerie,
Yet with her the fault didn't lie.

A shout arose from the northern sands
Of treachery near the Petpet tanks.
Jhuidah had been found, it seemed,
Shrunk small, but restored with thanks.

She told a tale of a red-feathered witch,
A shaman who'd tricked with a smile.
Jhuidah the Faerie has now set her hounds
To find this captor vile.

The Quadrapus Garden
By Moose777

There is a secret place
In the unfathomable depths of the pirate sea
Where the Quadrapi live in a magical garden
And hoard pirate treasure
Around their rocky homes.
They plunder shipwrecks
For many miles around
Searching for golden dubloons
And pieces of eight--
Two in each tentacle
They frolic and play
Among gemstones that glitter
Fine trinkets and rings.
The Quadrapi arrange these things
Into many shining piles
They stop to admire each other's collections
And then add more to their own
Such fabulous wealth they have amassed!
It is beyond your wildest dreams.
If you should ask your Quadrapus
To take you there sometime
He'll pretend not to know how to get there
Or maybe just drool at you
But really, he knows.
