The River By daniellal

Sun's golden rays glisten
on my watery skin,
But still not reaching
some murky drops within,
The cold surface of stone
touches my silver edge,
And I can see
green trees and hedge.
Gliding through valleys
and mountains and more,
Traveling to my destiny- the shore,
I sway and tumble
in my quest for the sea,
I am strong and determined,
nothing can stop me,
Suddenly I start to sweat,
The sun beating on me- I'm not so wet,
Yellow grass and hot plains,
Nothing can stop this boiling pain...
As I flow through shivering towns,
Snow and hail push me down,
I reach the everlasting polar night,
Bewildered, by the strange half-light...
Then suddenly the ghostly air,
Blinds me, I'm unaware,
Of the danger, waiting to call,
Of an amazing waterfall!
I tumble and crash, over the edge,
Until finally, the vision of trees and hedge,
Return to me and I am calm,
For I am now safe from harm.

Waiting By hoshi_princess

The rain dripped through a leak in his kennel,
Taunting him endlessly.
Tail flicking from side to side,
Eye glancing through the wire,
The Gelert laid patiently, waiting.
Yesterday, his owner brought him here,
Left without a notice, without a goodbye.
Yet he did not heed that much.
His tail twitched slightly.
What was that, over there?
Was that his owner, coming for him?
He raised his head.
His eyes brightened immensely.
But it was not his owner.
And he laid down again.
Patiently.
The fire in his eyes died down.
And for a moment it seemed,
That he was ready to give up hope.
But he was a Gelert.
A loyal creature.
Loyal.
He glanced up at the dripping water,
And blinked.
Yes.
He would wait.
He was a Gelert, after all.
His tail flicked from side to side.
His eyes glanced through the wire.
It might take forever.
But he was loyal.
And he was willing to wait.
Even forever.

My Life Changing Accident By jade_17

I stood there motionless
with the faerie queen before my eyes,
In my mind I was concocting
lots of excuses, lots of lies.
I knew I shouldn't have done it
as soon as my nail went in,
The pain must have been a million times worse
than being pricked with a pin.
I tried to explain
but the queen wouldn't listen,
When she was shouting
her white teeth would glisten.
We were very good friends at the time,
She thought I was totally divine.
I had completed a quest
which no one had done before,
It was to find a poisonous apple core,
When I had done it
I picked the light faerie up,
I had picked her up under her arms,
not scooped my arms in a cup.
It was then that I accidentally cut her,
Like a knife will cut butter.
The queen told me my punishment would be,
be sent to a land
without peace or harmony.
With a zap of her wand
I was there all alone,
Could anybody hear my cries to go home?

The Space Faerie By dragonsflame14

A strong young faerie
Beginning her life
Born among the stars and the planets
And the silvery moon
Fire from the sun rushes through her veins
A strong, noble heart
And a wise, just mind
She defends the adventurers of Neopia
Whom dare to go beyond
And enter the darkness of space
When their stations are invaded
And hope's spark dims
They cry out for help
And she comes to rescue them
From beyond the edge of the galaxy
She is spurred on by cries for help
Smiting the darkness of evil
With the light that burns within her
The Space Faerie
Defender of the stars
