Month of Peek-A-Boo?

Once on a lasting summer day,
As I wandered through the streets.
I chanced to look at the calendar,
With my Shoyru at my feet.

"The month of Hiding is upon us,"
Piped my brown and wriggly friend.
"It seems the month of Swimming
Must at last come to an end."

"We can expect Usuki dolls,
Blumaroos and Grundos."
Declared my clever Shoyru,
As I glanced down to my toes.

"But most of all, the name implies,
It's time for Hide and Seek.
For surely all your pets and I
Away from you will creep!"

This sure caught my attention,
But when I turned to object,
My Shoyru had flounced away,
His hiding too perfect.

And so I returned back home,
Once there I sadly knew,
I'd be resigned to "It" in games,
And playing Peek-A-Boo.

The Lost Purple Chia Plushie

I've looked behind my desk, bed, and couch,
Boy I'm becoming such a grouch,
I've searched way late, past the break of dawn,
Oh where has my purple Chia plushie gone?

One day he was sleeping neatly tucked in my bed,
So that I could cuddle up against his sweet head,
And the next day not a place could he be found,
Oh, this mystery is just so profound!

Perhaps he had a mission that he need not delay,
So he packed his bags and ran away,
I hope he is out saving Neopia,
Turning the Neoworld into a beautiful Utopia.

Maybe the Pant Devil paid a visit to my room,
And stole my purple Chia plushie
Just to bring me gloom,
But why would the Pant Devil visit my house?
Surely, he couldn't be that much of a louse!

No matter who, when, or how,
I will find you someway, somehow!
In my heart you will always be with me,
But I still just wish I knew
Where in the world you could be!!!

Ode to My Crabula

My Crabula has a red shell
And he's prone to fits of giggles.
When he is happy you can tell
Because his tail wiggles.

My Crabula has eyes on stalks
And a pair of great big claws.
When I take him on long walks
He likes to pinch my paws.

My Crabula is rather funny
But I love him anyway.
His disposition's always sunny,
So he brightens up my day.

My Crabula is awful nice
So please do not be afraid
Of his big claws that slice and dice.
That's just how he was made.

My Crabula might pinch you
If you pay him no attention,
But that's just because he likes you.
He has no bad intention.

PinchyButton is the name
Of my Crabula so fine.
No matter what we'll stay the same.
He will always be mine.

Up 'n' Down, Up 'n' Down

My pet loves to play Brucy B Slots,
and she plays it all day.
When I say it's time to go,
she always wants to stay.

She always bets max bet,
and usually doesn't win.
Sometimes we hit almost broke,
but she takes another spin.

After that last spin,
she usually wins a lot.
One time she got so close,
and almost hit the jackpot.

After I get her to come home,
she dreams about the game.
When we come home every day,
she dreams about the same.

I love to watch her have fun,
but I hate when we become poor.
We went from being rich to bankrupt,
I say, "Let's head for the door."

But when she hits that final spin,
we become wealthy once more
she hits that same exact spot,
that she hit once before.

Vira the Acara

On sunny days she'd play in fields,
Where the pretty flowers grow,
Shadows danced as the sun came out,
Revealing her very pretty glow

Though an evil thought crept through her mind,
As she sat beneath the tree,
"I want to shine and be
The prettiest pet that I can be!"

Unfortunately on that day,
She received a letter,
For the wrong ears had heard her say
She wanted to look better

"Come here, my little pretty,
As I can help you true,
With a bit of luck,
I'll make a model out of you!"

Foolish greedy Vira,
Found a mirror tall,
She looked inside and she
Was the most beautiful of all!

Pretty soon her beauty faded,
Magic's what she lacked!
The voiced hissed, "I know how
To get the beauty back..."

So heed my warning, young and old,
As Vira was left sore,
Listen when I tell you...
