"I fly over the treetops..."
By empressrain
I fly over the treetops
on a scorchio guilded in gold
I must arrive at the palace,
with the sacred jewels that I do hold
Above me dances the moonlight,
shining its light on me
Below me lies the forest
and a river which will meet the sea
To be a royal messenger
is the duty I was assigned
And deliver the sacred jewels
when the planets above all aligned
I must reach the palace by the time
the sun shows it's red face
If I wish to reach the palace
then quickly I must make haste
I pull on the reins of my scorchio
as I spot the towers high
I can see the palace shimmer
as we descend from the sky
I arrive at the palace gates,
with the jewels I hold in my hand
I enter the palace with bliss
as I realise that this is saved land

Fire In The Heart of Drasawai
By PokeDiablo
As the frightened Shoyru, Drasawai,
Skimmed on the ground
The rain and hail hitting it's back,
He felt he wouldn't make it
Away from the terror.
He was a young Shoyru, and not very strong.
Every other Neopet
would taunt him and fight him
No matter how weak he was.
And as the terrible phantoms
Who stole charities from the poor
Chased him in the thunder,
The rain and evil
doused the fire in his heart.
But he wouldn't let go, not like this.
So he fought for what he believed in.
For equality.
For everyone who taunted him
Was about to have their lives saved.
They wouldn't know it,
But in the long run,
He would be a hero.
So he landed,
He let down his wings,
And he attacked.
An when all hope was lost,
He defeated them.
And this proved the fire
In the heart of Drasawai
Flickered into an inferno.
As a hero was born.....

Broken Faerie
By grlinterupted695
My wings are broken
I cannot fly
And so I watch my friends fly sky high
Their lights shining brightly
While mine is pale
What more is there for me?
I will be left out in the cold
My peaches and cream complexion
Turns as white as snow
And I can never be sure
If by some miracle
I have a chance to start again
Will my wings flutter?
And will my eyes glitter
Instead of being dull
I would once again be a star
Twinkling
Often I will be confused as being angel
If only these wings of mine could soar
I wouldn't have to walk
on this damp cold floor
Maybe it won't be bad
Perhaps I could start anew
And find another thing to do
But never will I forget
my days of flying
So here I go on my new path
A place that will be strange
But alas I must go
So farewell my faerie friends
For I can not pretend

"The smile on my Kougra's face..."
By cassi88
The smile on my Kougra's face
shone on the reflection
of the blue glass vase
She was laughing and smiling
with her all friends
Her crystal eyes told us
that she never wanted the fun to end
Kougra's competent and so bright
Her laughter had alot of might
Kougra would play hide and go seek
but always made sure
her friends wouldn't peek
Up a tree with juicy fruit
and bright green leaves
She would look over the sparkling sea
The happiness of being her owner
Lies within only my heart...
