the waves beat calmly upon the peal white sand,
dreamsongs they begin to chant
with whispering shrills,
through the dark velvet skies laced with,
infinite glittering stars the song swirls in the sky,
their dreamsongs radiate through time and space,
into the celestial expanse we hear their united cry,
hearing the soft shrills of their dreamsongs,
they fill our burning minds with sonorous notes,
this melodic sweet rhythm crashes through,
unravelling their majestic and glorious thoughts
the united melodic beasts swim,
play in the shimmering waters,
the sky lightens with a plethora of merging colours,
which mirror within the sacred jewels
embedded in their forhead,
the melodious peophins
welcome to the guild their kindred.

In the mountains high, where fog does cover,
Falls a legend like no other.
All have heard, but none have seen
the place where battle reigns as king.
Few dare utter, others seek
to find one day what legends speak
of fame and honor, defeat and fear,
some run others cry when they stand here.
Discipline, health, strength have all,
bowed in respect as they pass these walls.
Enter they do with dreams, with hopes.
Thousands cry as they walk back to their homes
leaving few who remain to continue on
driven by passion, a love foregone.
Mastering skills is not all that is taught
but patience, respect, and love why not?
Remaining, having become heroes down below.
Currently they stay, legends of the Battle Dome.

Bruce By darreus

Bruce, the poor dear, was once a man.
He was not very popular, he had limited fans.
He was peaceful and quiet, and watched Jeopardy.
He was always on time and was never tardy.
Then one day the Neopians started to complain.
"Bruce!" they said, "he is a Neopets shame!
He doesn't fit into the theme at all,
it's time to get rid of him ...
before I cut him with this very sharp saw!"
So there Bruce sat on Judgment Day,
waiting for the poll results to reveal
the price he had to pay.
He wondered why everyone hated him.
After all, what was his sin?
And then, interrupting his thought, came the judge.
"Now dear Bruce please don't hold a grudge,
but I sentence you to life as a piece of fudge!"
"A piece of fudge?!" He said with a cry.
"Ooops sorry Bruce" said the judge
"there was something in my eye."
"In actuality, I sentence you,
to life as a flightless bird, a penguin to be exact."
"A penguin?!" Said Bruce
"Yes, a penguin." Said the judge matter-of-fact.
So Bruce was transformed immediately.
To a stupid, flightless bird, who could barely see.
And now you look at him and say, "Isn't he cute?
He looks better than he used too!
It a good thing we changed that ugly piece of fruit!"
But remember the truth my friends,
someday Neopia could claim your pet to be a brute.
The judge may change you pet,
to their idea of "cute."
Maybe your Lupe will be a Hippo
or your Chia a plant!
And remember poor Bruce
next time you want to rant!
