Valentine's Day is drawing near
My pets are excited as can be
They've been shopping and planning
Saying just wait and see

They each have someone in mind
For the special day
When asked who it is
They all refuse to say

My Blumaroo has bought a bottle of love
My Techo has bought a teddy bear
They each, of course
Have gotten something new to wear

My Kyrii has picked out a box of chocolates
And my Tonu has gotten a ring of gold
I'll meet the lucky few
On Valentine's Day I'm told

They primp and dress
Without a care
They wrap their gifts
In order to share

I too dress, I want to know
I go out just to see
And what a surprise
All the gifts were meant for me!!!

The Potion By Nighthood47

Everyday at Kauvara's Shop,
bottles and bottles of them are restocked.
Each bottle contains a mysterious goo,
who knows what they are,
and what will they do to you?

I stepped inside her shop, to see what she had,
lots of different potions, boy, it was mad.
I asked if I could see one, the best of the lot,
and she took out her special potion,
from out of a box.

And as you have guessed,
it was her very own make,
if you would have seen it,
you would really want to take.
I asked what were the ingredients,
to make this special potion,
and all that she told me,
was a very complicated notion.

I took out my wallet, and to my dismay,
I didn't have the money, not for that day.
I thanked her for the service,
and walked out in gloom,
but at least I knew,
where the arbiter berries bloomed.

Goodbye Meridell By Adoriblelapin

The lone Ixi scampered round
Her lost homeland destroyed by evil.
She dared not make a single sound,
For the enemies would find and track her down.

The Ixi was scared for her life,
Sad for her friends,
Mourning the loss of her old home,
Which she thought would never end.

Everday the Ixi would snuggle,
In her small, abandoned building.
She would fold her Faerie wings,
She received not so long ago.

Her Symol petpet would lay beside her,
Tears streaming down his small beady eyes
And then together, the two would cry.
Through the lonely, dark sky.

The war never seemed to end.
It continued on and on,
Until many buildings were gone,
And many lives were taken.

But everyday before,
To the Ixi's family and friends,
She said goodbye and farewell
And said she loved them forever more.

But today the Ixi did not feel,
That she could live any longer,
Could Meridell truly heal?
That she always wondered.

Was it goodbye at last,
When the Ixi folded her gallant wings?
Time slowly passed,
And all she could do
Was think of her old things.

But for now it was best,
The Ixi decided,
To finally rest.

If she did not make it through,
The harsh days of war,
She would be missed forevermore.

But time will tell,
And who knows?
The land known as Meridell
May rise once more.

The Ixi hugged her petpet tight,
And slept all through the night,
Hoping to wake in the morning,
Hoping to be alive,
Until the war was finally resolved.

Dark Faerie Valentine By Shivvibum

Malliin is the youngest in my quiet little family
She is the most caring,
I'm sure she has a heart of gold!
But one day she did something crazy
Or so I have been told...

On her first Valentine's Day,
She made valentines for all
The big, and the small!
But she made a valentine for one
Who didn't deserve one at all...

Into the Haunted Forest she frolicked
Unaware of the danger ahead
For she did not know, in the Haunted Forest
Love is one thing that is hard to spread...

She was still young; she did not know fear
Nor did she need to
So when the Dark Faerie began to cackle
It was nothing to her that wasn't new

Malliin was easy prey, the Dark Faerie thought
She was a baby Rainbow Shoyru,
Nothing hard about that
The Dark Faerie crept up behind Malliin
But she did not see that pothole in the ground,
so she fell with a *SPLAT!*

The Dark Faerie looked up,
To see a bright smiling face
Malliin helped the Dark Faerie up
And said, "I've been looking for you!"
The Dark Faerie frowned almost confused
And said, "Into this world you must be new..."

Malliin made a puzzled face for a brief second
And finally spoke, "Don't you know
What day this is, Ms. Dark Faerie?"
The Dark Faerie gagged,
And said, "Of course I do! I'm no fool!"
She brushed herself off, then asked
"Don't you fear me? Aren't I scary?"

Malliin just smiled
And pulled a valentine out from behind her wing
"I made this for you!" she smiled,
"Happy Valentine's Day!"
The Dark Faerie was stunned,
looking upon this tiny Shoyru and her gift
Then she shook her head, and said,
"What a foolish game for you to play..."

"No one loves me!"
she announced loudly, "I'm pure evil!"
"But no one can be all bad..." Malliin said proudly
"But I'm a Dark Faerie! No one loves me!"
The angered Faerie shrieked loudly...

"You may think that now," Malliin began,
"But I love you lots!"
Malliin smiled, saying,
"Purple is my favorite color...
or red, I can't make up my mind!"
As Malliin went on,
the Dark Faerie puzzled over the tiny Shoyru
Baffled over the answers she could not find...

Malliin stopped herself
In the middle of her sentence
And handed the Dark Faerie her Valentine
The Dark Faerie looked at it with a heavy heart
"Oh please," Malliin began,
"Won't you be mine?"
The Dark Faerie cracked a tiny smile
And twirled her hand
In a odd gesture of mystery
A spell she began to cast
That Malliin that would remember
in her life history

The purple smoke faded to a bright pink
And the dark glitters
Began to shine a beautiful white light
In the hands of the Dark Faerie
Appeared a dozen scented hearts flowers
So beautiful that they blinded out
The Haunted Forest's night

The Dark Faerie handed them to Malliin
The Shoyru's eyes glittered in wonder
She hugged the Dark Faerie tightly
Then off in the distance there was a thunder

"Well, I'd better go, there's a storm coming!"
Malliin said, "I will see you again soon!"
As she flew off with the flowers
She looked back and smiled
The Dark Faerie stood there,
holding within her a new emotion
She smiled to herself and though,
"What a sweet little child...."
