A Random Feeling

I get this random feeling when I sit here, 
Daydreaming about friends and community. 
It's powerful and it surges through me, 
Together in Neopia, we are a family. 

We understand one another, or try to be, 
There for each other indiscriminately. 
Making new friends and keeping the old, 
One is silver and the other is gold. 

Memories of joy float in my memory. 
It is this family that understands a side of me. 
One of which cannot always be expressed or shown, 
While I sit here at home, I am not alone. 

This random feeling of happiness and bliss, 
I am an observer of its power, a witness. 
A testament to how strangers can become friends. 
Through a mutual love for a game that mends. 

There's a void inside that seeks to chime.
Longing for a childhood filled with plenty of time.
These words on a page express these feeling online, 
When I log on daily to enjoy and unwind.

Down for Maintenance Pteri

The Black Pteri easily comes to mind
But there is another evil bird that is eerie
Down For Maintenance Pteri is one of a kind

Its color is bright red with a hint of yellow
Appearing with wicked expression
Taunting all in woe and sorrow
Caused by the server’s regression

It used to be innocent in the past
A small little bird that is gentle and mild
But everyone’s anguish made it last
Transforming it to menacing and wild

If you are unlucky enough to meet it
You will be challenged to a fight
This might be a chance to prove your feat
In the Battledome, you can make it right

The Sway is the group the Duchess led. Nobody knows where she lays her head.

The Gift Wrapping Scorchio

Especially if you’re shopping in the Bazaar!
A hard-working Scorchio wraps gifts all day,
He has trinkets and presents to make someone’s day!

His shop holds treasures many consider rare,
And magic just seems to fill the air.
The scorchio waves you in, eager and keen.
Gifts for all holidays, like Valentines and Halloween.

“What are you shopping for?” he hums low,
If you’re here for a gift, you should let him know.
He spread his wings as he searches his shelves,
“Take a look around, please help yourselves!”

A Kadoatie Pepper Pot for the Petpet lover,
Or a Swirl Umbrella used to take cover.
Maybe a tree of love for the romantic soul,
Finishing your shopping list is his main goal.

All day and night, he sells his wares with pride.
Not sure what you want? He’ll be your guide.
Seek out the Scorchio with the twinkle in his eye,
And pop into his gift shop before you say goodbye!

Splat-A-Sloth Stress Relief

If Dr. Sloth makes you anxious
Or has caused you a grievance or two
Then we’ve got a game that’s perfect
To let out those aggressions plaguing you

It might not be Dr. Sloth himself
But a sock with an uncanny resemblance
That you can hit with all your might
And after have a balanced temperance

This sock isn’t an easy target though
As it comes out of the tube it’s very fast
So keep concentrated on this sock
And the relief you’ll feel is going to last

Make sure to thank the Grundos who invented
This fun and unique game of stress relief
Because Dr. Sloth is known for his evilness
And can upset your daily life beyond belief

NeoQuest Skeiths

On my NeoQuest adventure,
I encountered some Skeiths;
They had giant claws, soulless eyes,
And terrifying teeth.

It was not these creatures' own choice
To be compelled to brawl,
For they had been corrupted by
An Eyrie named Jahbal.

I found the first ferocious Skeith
In the Jungle Ruins;
The beast was so Huge that I thought
It would be my undoing.

Next was the Sand Skeith in the Desert,
Although, I must admit,
I hunted them intentionally
For a glob of their spit.

I found in the Temple of Roo
A Giant Cave Lizard;
This fierce creature had been bewitched
By an ancient wizard.

Though these Skeiths were powerful foes,
I defeated them all-- 
And promised that, eventually,
I would avenge their fall.

Pick Your Own

Although Gilbert is a bit gruff and lacking in charm, 
This Gelert tends his abundant fields with so much care,
That many yearn to come see him at Meri Acres Farm,
Hoping that there will be plenty of berries to share!

As Neopians frolic through the green and bountiful pastures,
They hope they find rare treasures, like the unguberry!
Dung in the basket though, toss that out - what a disaster!
Only take six though, Gilbert is sure there is enough for everyone to carry!

Hands streaked with juice from the bushes and covered in dirt
After a long day roaming the fields, you’ll be happy to go back home,
Certain to remember all the fun you had in Meridell with Gilbert,

Oh, How I Loved My Plushie...

Oh, how I love my plushies!
They are just so cute to me.
I love to hug them, squeeze them,
Because they are so cuddly!

I like to keep them near.
Each one in my collection,
I love so very dear!

We rove the Lost Desert, fight pirates,
And even fly to Faerieland in my dreams!

When all of them went missing,
Except for a Poogle that looked… strange?

With that malevolent grin, 
It’s as if he came alive,
His eyes glowing from within…

There is adventure to be found!
Just locate the rich soil mounds,
To follow a Symol underground,
For moments that will astound!

One must be daring and brave,
To explore tunnels and caves.
Luckily, the way Symols pave,
For all of their traveler favs!

There are sharp twists and turns,
In the dark so difficult to learn.
But there is no need for concern,
Do not let the anxiety churn.

Symols will lead the way!
There will time to stay -
Hang out with them and play.
Overall the best kind of day!

When out and about for a stroll,
And you run into a Symol,
Always follow them down the hole -
Trust your gut and your soul!

They never steer their friends wrong,
Cheerfully leading the throng,
With a bounce in their step and a song,
They invite you to come along!

The Bush of the Blueberry Neggs

In the wide fields of Altador on a green grassy hill,
Past the very last farmer’s old wooden windmill,
Where the twigs grow so thick they’ll get stuck in your bill,
Sits the Bush of the Blueberry Neggs.

On which hill the bush rests, nobody knows,
There re too many to count on your fingers and toes,
But if you’re really that keen you must follow your nose,
To sniff out the Bush of the Blueberry Neggs.

Its scent is not floral, it’s not sour or sweet,
It smells not like any blueberry you’ll ever meet,
Some say it smells almost like Blumaroo meat,
But really it smells of the Blueberry Neggs.

Those who have tasted their Blueberry Negg flesh,
Say that they’ve never tasted a Negg quite as fresh,
But they cannot be harvested, they rot wrapped in mesh,
Once picked from the Bush of the Blueberry Neggs.

So once every year during the great Negg Fest,
While others go looking for Kari’s Negg nests,
Some venture on out on their own special quest,
For the Bush of the Blueberry Neggs.

Will this be the year, on a fruit-fated day,
When they finally find it way out of their way,
And they taste the sweet fruit and can finally say,
This is the Bush of the Blueberry Neggs.

Graceful Gelert

The Gelert is tall and joyful.

Many Gelerts live around Neopia,

A misunderstood Gelert walks the woods,
Poor Bruno covers his face with hoods. 

Gilbert lives happily in ol’ Meridell,
Berries, cotton, and pieces of wire are swell. 
Visit his farm and collect these treasures,
View the rolling hills. Enjoy the large pastures. 

Not all Gelerts are cute and fun,
Kanrik’s lying abilities are second to none. 
Leading the thieves into battle,
His beguiling nature and the enemies rattle. 

The Spellseeker sits in his tower,
Pouring over puzzles at every hour. 
Gelerts are fast, Gelerts are bright,
Find these creatures on every land and site.

Chemistry For Beginners

(Li)sten closely to the atomic rules
(Be)cause if you don’t, you’ll look like fools

(B)uild molecules using your knowledge of Chemistry
(C)arefully choose the molecules with the highest pedigree
(N)eopium and Tyrannium combos score quite low
(O)pt to use the others, but you must be careful though

(F)actor in that molecules can also be unstable 
(Ne)ver put three Slothite together on the table
(Na)turally, there are other things you can’t do
o(Mg) I forgot, Faeryllium next to Krawkite is unstable too 

(Al)ign atoms to build molecules from what you can use
(Si)mple, it seems, yet it is so easy to lose
(P)lease be careful so it doesn’t explode
(S)o I can take teaching this class off of my load

The Little Negg Hunter

The little Meerca spends his time
Hunting Neggs–how sublime!
Enthralled he is, with adoration
What beautiful, scrumptious creations.

The Rainbow Negg is bright and yummy–
It is perfectly home in his tummy.
The Power Negg gives a jolt–
Like a little lightning bolt.

The Meerca likes the Fish Negg best–
A tough choice it is, among the rest.
The red ones do look rather delicious!
But unfortunately they can be so vicious.

When Ferocious Neggs are on the loose–
Run, Meerca, run–you shall not snooze!
When gravity fails, the world shifts,
And the earth opens up to reveal a rift.

Then down the hole, the Meerca goes–
And it feels like time just froze.
He looks around and is gripped with fear.
But thankfully the Negg is near.

Kiwi, the Baby Kyrii

There was once a Baby Kyrii,
her name was little Kiwi.
She could spell her name
by the time she was three!

A bright young Neopet,
the top of her class,
if you challenged her,
she'll bring out her sass!

All day all night,
she loved to eat snacks.
She always had to have kiwis,
and buy them in sacks!

In the spring she goes out,
and brings her book around.
She goes to the park
and reads on the ground!

When she tires she rolls over,
and lays on her fluffy hair.
Then naps for a bit,
dreaming without a care.

Everyone loved her to bits,
she was the cutest Kyrii,
sometimes a bit bitey,
but very, very cheery!
