What I Want For Christmas

Hello Mr. Santa Clause,
Christmas is coming, hooray!
Here is a little list,
Of stuff I want on Christmas Day.

I want a Blumaroo statue,
That is for my room,
How about a Petpet?
A cuddly Chezoom!

Maybe some new trading cards,
1-90 is my wish,
How about some codestones?
And some utility fish!

Faeries make a great gift,
Ten of every kind,
And a copy of Zafara Lore,
Could you get it signed?

A plushie paint brush no doubt,
Would make me look so cool!
If you could get a spiked negg,
I'd think you really rule!

Do you give away plain NP?
Because I would like a few,
And a red Kau plushie,
One that will really moo!

That I think is all of it,
I'm really full of cheer,
I didn't ask for 2000 things,
Like I did last year!

The Season of Christmas

Christmas is a time of joy,
For every Neopet, girl or boy.
A season of happiness for everyone,
A time we can play and have lots of fun.

Shoyrus, Kacheeks and so many more,
Under the sea or above the shore.
All of the Neopets will soon celebrate,
The season of giving and not just take.

Alas but in the city of Meridell,
Not to mention Darigan as well.
Are having a war over the orb,
And the citizens are busy doing their job.

"Celebrate?!" King Skarl exclaims giving a grunt,
"Can't you see that Lord Darigan, that little runt,
Is defeating Meridell which we must protect,
I can't celebrate Christmas and turn my back !"

So the war rages on with no mercy shown,
The villagers are tired, all skin and bone.
Maybe someday, they will learn to share,
Then we will see how well they fare!

An Orphan Wocky's Christmas

On a quiet snowy winter's night,
A little Wocky cold and blight,
A single tear formed in his eye,
He told himself he must not cry.

A year ago this very day,
This Wocky found to his dismay,
His life of joy had reached an end,
His owner had stopped being his friend.

Day after day, visitors came round,
To find pets at the Neopian Pound,
But weeks went by, they passed him by,
Poor little Wocky didn't know why.

But far away a Faerie saw,
This Wocky had a crippled paw,
He wasn't perfect anymore,
So no one loved him like before.

"This isn't right," the Faerie said,
"For no pet should be left for dead!"
So down she flew from Faerieland,
And waved about her magic hand.

Hours later a young girl came,
She's somewhat shy, the little dame,
So her mommy said on Christmas Day,
She could come and take a pet away.

And this was how it came to pass,
The Wocky and the little lass,
She laid eyes on the Wocky sad,
And knew she had to make him glad.

So out she took him from his stall,
And wrapped him in her little shawl,
She kissed his cheek and smiled so sweet,
Said, "You're the best Christmas treat!"

Chronicles of the Meridell War

'Twas some time before Christmas
Down in olde Meridell
Morris was flying
Some Drackonacks as well

To regain the orb
Was the Draconians goal
To reclaim the power
That Meridell stole

Lord Darigan was scowling
Meridell was ten times ahead
He wondering if Skarl
Was dancing instead

Forums were flooding
Arguments came
Of which was the good side
And who was to blame

Opponents appeared
From the left and the right
Various creatures
Of Drake Moehogs and Knights

A plan came up
An evil one said
To even the tally
And mess with out heads

Warrior switched
The scores all a mess
It seemed that old Darigan
Seemed to get the best of the best

Who will win now
When the time is at hand
It's time for us
Each to take a stand

Neither side will win
As it morally goes
Power is worthless
If cruelty shows.

Lord Darigan's Thoughts

I sit here in my citadel,
murmurs of hope,
thoughts of revenge.
You think I am evil?
You think I am despicable?
Think again,
look harder,
and realize the real darkness.
Have you not thought of the treachery,
of stealing, of lying,
of the ones stealing my soul and land?
Fools, see within,
Skarl is tricking young hearts and thus,
shall honesty be relinquished.
Darigan my name will be,
the one that will stand proud and strong,
I ask that you see beyond,
the thin layer of misunderstanding,
that Skarl tried to hoodwink you with,
deceiving you of the truth,
presenting me as cruel and dark.
I am not who you think I am,
do I not want to save my land,
from starvation and death?
I think not,
as I think that you should see who I really am,
so thus begin to see,
the light of the war,
the root of the hate,
and the blossom of truth.
