A new year in Neopia is around the corner,
You know what this means to fun and joy, you are no stranger,
There's a lot in store to be excited about,
The staff has nice things planned without a doubt!

We can look back on the memories of the past year with joy,
The advent calendar just ended and maybe you got a new toy,
Some great comics to look back at to smile when the time is right,
Even some more serious ones like the Faellie's plight!

With all the old memories there will be those coming that are new,
Rumour in Neopia is there might be a plot coming that you'll have to see through,
Nobody knows for sure what it is about,
You can be assured that your talents will be needed to stop evil without a doubt!

You may be excited for the UC Pets,
We've been told that we can soon expect the Faerie sets,
Times are changing very soon,
Be sure to stay tuned!

For all of us new year brings a fresh start,
Another year of great art,
Last year's Pet colour designs were second to none,
However, I'm sure this year will continue to stun!

There's plenty to be excited for,
A surprise is waiting for us behind the door,
Surely many treats that will be fun,

A Buzz’s New Year’s Resolution

There was a Buzz who wasn’t shy.
He was really happy and a nice guy.
He wasn’t selfish and cared so much,
For other Pets and Petpets and such.

The great New Year was finally here!
He was so excited. Pure bliss was near!
There were many ways to spend this day.
A new resolution would soon be at play.

He wanted to do more for all in need.
So he started to think with the fastest speed.
He sat at home with several supplies.
He worked really hard with focused eyes.

This Buzz made toys of all sorts and kinds.
He used whatever he could find.
Once completed he’d pass them out. 
Everyone who got one was always really proud.

What was the reason he did this you ask?
Why did he do this wonderful task?
Some Neopets do not have all that lot.
That’s when he had this wonderful thought.

By giving toys, he brought them cheer.
It overpowered feelings of fear.
They got some joy during this season.
Giving joy was his main reason.

Another Neopian Year

Another year has come and gone,
Let’s recap and look upon,
The previous year and all its great things,
Before we see what the new year brings. 

New and fun colours were deployed.
Aishas, Ogrins and Gnorbus in Burlap, Speckled and Toy.
A brand new Paintbrush that is absolute art,
Pink and red with cute little hearts.

Let’s not forget Faerie’s Hope!
Save the forgotten floating land out of scope.
Kari and Mira also needed aid,
Finding Neggs to uncover those who betrayed.

The pirates at the cove returned with dastardly wares,
And the Cup was won by the Spacefarers.
In the Month of Hiding,
Brought conventions of happy tidings.

A spooky month with a spooky fair,
Illusen vs. Jhudora. Kindness vs. Flair.
And so quickly came the Month of Celebration.
Of happiness, joy, and vacation.

The Advent Calendar is always fun,
Pretty presents for everyone. 
A brand new year is exciting,
A new year of adventures, what a sighting!

The Month of Sleeping is now on its way,
Our hopes and our dreams tightly hold sway
We wish to see all our Pets happy and fed
We wish to collect everything from A to Zed

We wish to experience, new things unfold
But we also wish to cling to our favourites of old,
Don't fix what ain't broke, as the wise people say,
But let's continue forward and find our own way

To balance the new and exciting possibilities,
With the nostalgia and known security,

A Neopian's New Year Resolutions

To become a new Neopian!
To keep all my resolutions,
I've got the perfect plans!

I promise not to sneak past
Sabre-X for some omelette.
There are a million other ways
To feed my Neopet.

I promise to be thankful
For the Advent Calendar last year,
Try not to compare myself
With my luckier pea-rs.

I promise not to pick fights,
With folks on the Neoboards.
Besides, a lot of them
Are perhaps way too bored.

I promise to be generous,
Send items to the Money Tree,
And send a bit less junk,
Even if it's still free.

I promise to write more,
My inspiration well willing.
And stay away from cliches
Like "Where's the cream filling?"

And most of all, I promise,
To keep all my resolutions.
Because if I don't,
I'll be learning painful lessons!

Looking Back on Advent's Gifts at New Year, Y25

With shining eyes and open hearts,
Neopians across the land
rejoice in gifts and gifting's arts,
their ventures ever hand in hand.

There's much to celebrate this year,
just like in our twenty-five!
Past month replete with wondrous cheer,
when Reina and her boons arrived.

She gave us gifts of such great worth,
And I don't mean in currency!
Advent's souvenirs bring mirth
to players just like you and me.

To list them all would be a deed
ambitious as a Christmas Krawk!
Can you believe what we received,
from Snowickle to Christmas Rock?

A Coffee Mug for Brothers best,
some Christmas Wocky Carols,
a Snowbunny in Christmas dressed,
and lit-up Walein for your table.

And Plushies! Oh, these figures, merry!
For Neopets to play with you:
the Shop Wizard, the Snow Faerie,
and Elderly Acara too!

We shook our Snowglobes then for luck,
we played with all our Pebbles
and Christmas Eve we were dumbstruck
by Celebrating's cheery revels.

For on that day, what Reina brought
was sticky, greenish, smaller than
a Kougra's stripe, and yet nothing ought
be cherished more than Candychan!

Hip hip hooray for one more year!
Three cheers for albums now complete!
Our galleries without a peer.
We laud this world, imagination's greatest feat.

Here for Another Year

Another year has come and passed,
And the new year is here at last.
I make a wishlist and write new goals—
A great year it will be, I’ve been told.

After many years of being far away,
I returned to Neopia on a fine day.
The Month of Eating is when I returned—
Collecting Neggs was my greatest concern.

Altador Cup XVIII was a busy affair—
I’m happy to say that I was there.
Slushie Slinger and Yooyuball—
Earning points—I played them all.

Gourmet Club, Food Club — similar in name,
I finally learned that they’re not the same.
Now I appreciate Gooblah the Grarrl—
He is so loveable even when he snarls.

I joined the Art Gallery and Poetry too—
Before, as a child, I did not have a clue.
Then Faerie Festival soon came along,
After a storm near Lutari Island came in strong.

The Daily Quests added more novelty,
And I love the stamp with the Snowbunny.
Soon it was time for the Advent Calendar—
The Candychan Stamp — how happy we were.

I wonder now what the year will bring—
The possibilities make my heart sing.
Soon there will be a plot that’s brand new—
I can’t wait for the fun with all of you!

A First New Year in Neopia

It's year Twenty-Six,
And I don't say this lightly
Not a joke or for kicks:
Since my first day,
Neopets has me transfixed!

In honour of the year
Which we leave behind
I'd like to recap high points
To bear in mind
So we can share and celebrate
If you feel so inclined

In Sleeping through Eating
Well, there's not much from me
For the month of Hunting
Was my very first, you see
And I feel right at home
I do hope you'll agree

In the Month of Relaxing
I caught my first event
The Altador Cup XVIII
(I barely knew what it meant)
With much Yooyuball played
It was time well-spent

Swimming through Gathering
Had their fair share of Days
To celebrate places and Pets
In all kinds of ways,
I find that the Chocolate Ball
Really has my gaze

Collecting then was the month
The Faerie Festival was hosted
We also found Daily Quests
With prizes to be boasted
So many great things happening
All worthy of being toasted

Storing saw a very special time
Neopets had a Birthday!
Twenty-four years is a nice stint
With many more to go, I'd weigh
We'll be ready for twenty-four more
As we enjoy our Neopian stay

Then the final month of Celebrating
For all is an absolute blast
The Advent Calendar every day
Gives gifts to be amassed
The giving spirit and generosity
Is one I sure hope will last

Now I've covered all the months
With which I've had the pleasure
I look forward to many more
Joyous times in ample measure
And rest assured that all this time
Will be that which I will treasure

Kelp is hosting a fanciest feast,
For a New Year's party that will never cease! 

In Tyrannia, drums are thumping loud and clear
And ‘Ugga Ugga’ rings in the New Year! 
From all around, Grarrls roar,
Telling stories of New Year's of yore. 

Altador’s archives are all alit,
With New Year's stories, much of wit.
The constellations showcase heroes so bright
And will guide Neopia through the New Year night! 

In other lands, the celebrations are happening
With friends and cheer that is everlasting.
From Terror Mountain to the Lost Desert,
Celebrating is the most fun effort! 

So here’s to another year of quests, contests, and fun,
Of battles fought, shops restocked, and prizes won.
