Wocky Day Special
For Lanie and Lillie, endearing and uncanny
by darthtingle
When Lanie and Lillie awake from their grave,
together they frolic, together they play,
they skip toward the Ugga where warriors brave
know not of the danger they'll face on this day.
For Lillie and Lanie are Wocky twin sisters,
with violet eyes and off-Yellow fur:
they bruise their opponents, they give them new blisters,
they host ghastly parties in an adorable blur.
Pink bows on their heads and black shoes on their feet,
their eyes glowing purple, now dimly, now brightly,
endearing both lasses to all that they meet,
and yet they bring terror and violence fortnightly.
Their weapons adorable, their abilities strange,
the skull of a Moehog, a blade of candy all gold,
they Float, they cavort, through the graveyard they range
with the Rage of a Warlock, a power of old.
Who knows where they come from? Who knows where they've been?
These not-un-dead geminate, with promise of brains
to Echo, Halima, Olabet, Mortigan
they'll eat cake and candy for all of their reigns.
For Lillie and Lanie, most uncanny of all
quoth one to the other, "let's play over there"
"at that Obelisk" "shining with boons not so small"
"it will be a nice party" "it will be like the fair".
For Lanie and Lillie, they rollick and dance
through the tombs and the graves and the sepulchers shady,
they lead the Awakened forth at every chance!
To battle and sport, such dangerous ladies.

A Petpet for my Wocky
by addictive_xox
Frolicking along the woods all day,
Looking for someone to play.
My Woodland Wocky needs a friend,
Someone to be with her until the day's end.
There are many choices out there,
Just picking one doesn't seem fair!
So many cute faces to be seen,
Why can't we have two or three?
Do I find one that matches her hue?
Or maybe the style is what I do?
Woodland, pink, or flowers are nice,
But every time I see one I think twice.
She's a feline at her core,
So maybe she wants another to adore.
But maybe a mouse or bird would be fun,
Why is it so hard to pick one?
I leave the choice for another day,
Instead I focus on her today.
She deserves the best, as all Wockies do,
And they all want to celebrate with you!

Guess the Weight of the Marrow Wocky
by neoaggie99999
Down by Meri Acres Farm
There’s a marrow of colossal size
To those who live there, it’s not a surprise
Just an endearing part of their neighbor’s charm
“Come on, come forth – take a guess!”
Shouts a Wocky in a feathered green cap
Matching tunic and leather belt strap
“Take a grand look at ‘Ole Bess!”
“She’d be planted from the seeds I’d sown,
Right ‘ere on this very soil
All that trouble was worth the toil
Just marvel how this Beaut hath grown!”
He beams and basks in the sight
Welcomes visitors to surmise its weight
Waits for them to deliberate
Though, they rarely get it right
For winners, though few and far between
He rewards marrow masks or blades, so hardy
Or freshly made loves or pies, so hearty
Or even a grow-it-yourself marrow bean
His prized marrows weigh hundreds of pounds on end,
And while not many may frequent everyday
Those who do entertain him anyway
For above all, you see – he simply wants to be your friend.

A Wocky in Need of Laughter
by maculose
A Wocky woke up with quite the cough.
He was quite young and wore a scoff.
His mom was sad he felt this bad.
He was normally happy and acted quite rad.
“Would you like a drink or maybe soup?
Let’s go outside and hula hoop!”
Her son just frowned and shook his head.
“I really want to just stay in bed.”
She could not believe what she had heard.
Not being active was quite absurd.
She let him be and walked away.
Sooner or later she’d make his day.
She thought and thought of what to do.
“Perhaps I need something that’s new?”
She sat down and watched a show.
“This is funny and nicely flows!”
The she had it, just what to do!
This would work, she definitely knew!
She went to her son and opened the door.
She was ready to start and not be a bore.
She started to tell several good jokes.
He laughed so hard and almost choked.
“Thank you mom, I needed this.”
He felt quite better with pure bliss.

Extreme Potato Counting Wocky
by roxanna203
Under the sun, the Yellow Kacheek farms,
Many potatoes but not to eat or cause harm,
It's for his favorite past time of the day,
Guess the amount - what do you have to say?
Count all the potatoes, but take your time,
This Yellow Kacheek smiles bright and wide,
Most of his players usually guess correct,
However, the other game has them perplexed...
Extreme Potato Counting at a faster pace,
It's the player vs time in quite the race,
Run by a Punk-Rock Wocky with a rad style,
Players attempting this need to be versatile!
Need to focus and count at the speed of light,
Even being one off will not make it right,
To start over is quite the hassle and trouble,
But the reward is an avatar that's quite loveable!

Wocky Friends
by bittersweet52
A clowder of Wockies, all fuzzballs and floof
Most tumbling and playing, but some sitting aloof
There's Devi and Tackle, Nosey and Rai-lo
But the one that's most famous is Sprinkle you know!
Aside from these Wockies, there are more to meet
In fact my friend, Anna, has achieved quite the feat
Of filling their arms with all the friends they can hold
Portraits have been drawn, and stories have been told
When I think of Wockies, it's their family I see
With their gorgeous outfits, Petpets, and P-3s
Their Kougra and Aisha cousins are always nearby
Stopping by to gossip or just to say hi
Taken together it's a rainbow of fur
The sound shakes your core when they all start to purr
Feel the affection that pours forth from them all
They're open and friendly, ready to take down your walls
Despite your best efforts, it's no use to resist
Come meet everybody, I truly insist
To introduce you to your new friend if I may
Which will be oh-so-fitting for Wocky Day!

A Wocky Miracle
by tatyanne
A White Wocky slinks through the snow,
Silently moving in the moon’s glow.
Little snowflakes float down on her face–
The season of winter is full of happy days.
She stretches out her little soft furry paw,
And watches the snow flurries with great awe.
She hops and pounces in the white powder,
And her excited mews get louder and louder.
The White Wocky lays down and rolls around–
How delightful is the snow’s crunching sound!
She makes snow angels and a snow Taelia too–
Her joy in winter is simple yet pure and true.
She rolls the snow into a few large balls,
Assembles them and a Snow Wocky stands tall.
She looks up, into the snowy night sky,
And lets out the most contented sigh.
The night passes and soon comes dawn–
The White Wocky awakens with a sleepy yawn.
She rubs her eyes, “Oh! Is this really true?”
She can’t believe it – the Snow Wocky moves!
The Snow Wocky approaches and gives her a smile,
“I have been waiting for this moment for a while!”
Oh isn’t it wonderful, this shimmering snowy land?
The White Wocky now has made a new friend!

Wocky Day!
by spukl1
In Happy Valley, snow is falling,
Carolers have started calling.
The Snowager is fast asleep,
And the Advent Calendar has started a heap.
Yet we gather to celebrate…
One special pet who is SO great,
It’s the Wocky, with four legs and fluff!
Neopia’s finest! Sweet yet tough.
Wockies have a heightened sense of smell,
You can share your secrets, they’ll never tell,
Loyal, caring and especially sweet.
Neopia Central is where the Wockies meet.
Wockies are a wonderful pet,
Since the dawn of time they’ve been here yet…
We love their colorful and friendly faces,
Full of fluff, they also win races.
Happy Wocky day, the best of the year,
When your Wocky comes home, please give a cheer!
Here’s to one of the oldest and best,
Of all the Neopian Neopets!

Rainy Kiosk Wocky Day
by profebest
On a windy cold evening,
Where the moon shines on the sky,
Sky full of stars, shiny light,
It’s time to test your luck.
Selling a Scratchcard for 600 NP,
Every 6 hours you can win.
Amazing prizes on the list,
Sunset of luck awaits your try.
Rare plushies basic gamble,
Raining Neopoints under the water.
Rainbow levels for your active pet,
Lucky the Jackpot is the key of success.
The Wocky takes several breaks a day,
Make sure to wait ‘til takes a break -
Eating at Super Icy Fun Snow Shop,
Magical Chia Pop enlightened your day.
Happy Wocky Day!

The Kiosk
by grandcypher
T'wards frosted skies, the mountain peaks,
its bounties frozen cold
Yet tales would tell of fortunes grand,
of treasures new and old.
In serpent's coils bide their time,
their riches rarely seen
But cast your eyes out southward ways
and lo, a Wocky keen.
With clovers scattered 'bout his neck
and luck in spades for sure,
the Kiosk Wocky beckons fast
for business midst the thaw.
Excitement rings about the slope
as near a patron draws,
and in his hands the Wocky holds
a card that could be yours.
Six hundred plain the price he asks
to pry the prizes free:
A jackpot waiting to be claimed,
a victory in three.
A deal secured, the price is paid
he proffers forth a choice
Win you the race, the trove, the fae,
the peak, or greatest vice?
Nine panels laid before your eyes,
their surfaces doth call
Six chances total you shall have,
come winnings big or small.
Scratch one and see a snowball round,
or Plushie-fashioned friend;
earnings turned to multitudes
lest three blanks be your end.
With watchful eyes he oversees
each thoroughly planned move
As one by one the symbols match,
the scratchcard's worth he proves.
In ashen mitts and coat of blue
he stands atop the Valley
With promises of glory gold
his customers do rally.
And should you spot this Wocky out
about the wint'ry field
take heed the numbers that he shares
and riches they may yield:
For in the game of luck there stands
no greater connoisseur
Than the Kiosk Wocky stationed high,
the mountain entrepreneur.

Wobblin' Wocky
by sportsagain
It's a balancing act
To carry trinkets and more
Can't let these items
Fall to the floor
Fruits and books
And Plushies too
Drop from the sky
Is that a left shoe?
Focus, you must
You can't look away
Don't let your stack
Start to sway
Oh no! Oh no!
It is getting too rocky
Down to the ground
Goes the Wobblin' Wocky

A Waltz of Wockies
by bitsized
With fluffy tails
And fruffy frocks
Quietly still
The Wocky walks
Gracefully between
Twisting trees
Emerging with
A gentle ease
Careful still
A Wocky's pace
Silent strides
Leave no trace
A starry gaze
Its steps align
Soft echoes of
A Woodland rhyme
Velvet paws
Trace the night
Careful glances
Find the light
A twisting path
The Wocky weaves
To find the clearing
Through the trees
A moonlit glade
Where shadows sway
Wockies waltz
To end the day
Whiskers twitching
In moon's soft gleam
The Wockies dance
A nocturnal dream
As night unfolds
Its velvet cloak
The Wockies leave
No word bespoke
In the stillness
Of the night
The Wockies vanish
From our sight
No trace they leave
As daylight breaks
In mystic woods
A dream awakes
Yet in the morn
With dawn's first light
A whispered tale
of Wocky's flight

The Burlap Wocky: A Finely Stitched Pet
by _brainchild_
The Burlap Wocky shall delight!
No finer Pet is in sight.
From button eyes to fluffy tail,
The Wocky's features will prevail.
The buttons, green, are very big.
They sit below a lovely sprig
Of yarn which makes the Wocky's hair.
This creature, plush, is very fair.
The patches mend the Wocky's wounds.
The damage is no longer strewn
Across the Wocky's precious pelt.
The pain will no longer be felt.
This Wocky Day, if you desire
A Pet for you to admire,
The Burlap Wocky, perfect, shall
Delight---she's certain to enthral.

The Wocky Sprocket
by triarthrus_eatoni
There was once a Wocky,
who loved to tinker and build!
His fur was white and chalky,
and many inventions he has willed.
The Wocky was named Sprocket,
and lived in a giant workshop!
He had many tools in his pocket,
and when traveled he was in for some chop!
He built very many machines,
as far as the eye can see!
His workshop was squeaky clean,
and his creations were always free!
The Wocky once built a contraption,
which would make its work bring ease.
To the farmers it would bring attraction,
to the making of rolling cheese!
The Wocky one day discovered,
a relic of ancient past.
The artifact was then uncovered,
to be a tool that was quite a blast!
The tool was just a sprocket,
in which the Wocky took his name.
But the power it had was shocking,
it could fit in any chain!
So with a twist of the gist of his midst,
the Wocky built a device.
Which would create a calm cooling mist,
for much of the Lost Desert suffice!

Au pays des Wocky
by lepetitpoulet

The Grey Wocky boy
by valokki
This is the story of a Grey Wocky boy,
he is not talkative nor colourful like Rainbow Noil.
Although he secretly wishes he was Jelly or Blue,
oh something like Eventide wouldn't make him boo.
One time this quiet Grey Wocky boy,
was lost after returning Donny's broken toy.
For yes, he lived in the cold, snowy mountain,
where even a Wocky could freeze their brain.
The wind was roaring,
millions snowflakes falling!
The Grey Wocky boy had lost his sense of direction,
in the middle of all this dangerous white perfection.
He tousled his thick furry coat,
and after a while cleared his throat:
"Taelia, please, come here and save me!
I still want to see Kreludor and the Maraquan sea!"
For when you are lost and chilly winds make your paws numb,
you must call for Taelia, that's a rule of thumb.
She is the one who can save your life,
magical Taelia, so pretty and kind.
At last, no worries, no fears!
Our Wocky boy didn't need to shed too many tears.
Taelia found him and healed his frozen ears,
gave him a long scarf, hot Borovan and some pears.
Petritsky is the name of this Grey Wocky boy,
he treasures his woolen scarf with a great joy.
He got to explore the lands and seas of Neopia,
all those adventures wouldn't have happened without Taelia.

The Glade, The Creek, and the Wocky
by supertaylormoon
Deep in the glade, in a rollicking creek,
Lives a curious creature, if you dare to seek.
Tug on your boots ’til they’re over your jeans—
It’s about to get muddy. You’ll want to stay clean.
Walk ’til you feel like you’re thoroughly lost,
Like the bound between woodland and hometown’s been crossed.
Hike to the banks of the pebbly shore—
In the depths, you’ll find what you came here for.
A Wocky in water? An unusual sight,
Even stranger when that’s where it lives its whole life.
Maraquan in color, bewhiskered of snout,
This feline friend now resembles a trout.
With slime-coated scales of blue and of green,
A creek-diving Wocky is rare to be seen.
If he flashes a fin, bright of hue like the sun,
That means you are welcome to join in on his fun.
Wade ‘til you feel the creek cold ‘round your socks;
He’ll show you where waterfalls spill down the rocks.
Fish up your fill and eat all you please;
Chat with your new friend by the mangrove trees.
Then, when the time has come to return,
The Wocky will give you a waterlogged fern.
Off in the freshwater currents he’ll drift,
Leaving you with much more than that one little gift.
You’ve had an adventure, and memories made,
And a friend to come visit in the creek in the glade.

Christmas Wocky
by kali3333
