Racing down a mountain
Flowing with the breeze
Usuls ski so smoothly
Dodging all the trees

The feel and rush of skiing
Is what all Usuls need
They are all so confident
And hope to reach the lead.

Maybe it is the scenery
Or the competition
Whatever gets them going
It gets them a good position

Some don't always race
They ski just for fun
The day may last shortly
But the season has just begun!

All of us Neopians
Cheer them all of the way
Because we are in the spirit
Of the wonderful Usul Day!

The Usul's Special Day

Today is the Usul's special day
When all the Usuls come together and play
They sing songs of praise and joys
And each get many special toys!!!

The Captain of Krawk Island gives
Free training for every Usul that lives
The Usuls deserve these gifts and praise
I wish there was many Usul Days!!!

Its also the day when Usuls show
Their strength in the Battledome
They have good moves for today is their day
The Usuls are great! Hip Hip Hooray!!!

The Usuls also have a big party
And all the other pets are filled with jealousy
There is lots of cake and lots of fun
Remember, Usuls are number one!!!

The Usuls are one of the greatest pets
And having an Usul has no regrets
Usuls are caring and love to play
I'm glad it's the Usul's special day!!!

The Race Commences...

The chance of a lifetime,
Comes but once a year.
When each Usul in Neopia,
Must conquer their fear
To tackle the rugged
Snowy-Capped Mount,
And show everyone
What skiing is all about.

The fearless contenders
All approach the starting line,
A colourful palette
Among the forest of pine.
Their fluffy scarves
And lively bows,
All bouncing merrily
It's time to go!

The gun is fired,
The race has begun.
The Usuls are off,
The contest is far from won.

They zig and zag
All down the snow,
Their colours ablaze,
It's quite a show!

The Usuls are racing,
Pine trees whiz past,
They jump so high,
They zoom so fast!

The end looms close,
It seems so near,
The Usuls speed up,
The crowd roars in cheer.

The race is over,
Only one lucky Usul has won.
But it's the thrill of the race
That makes Usul Day so much fun.

It's a month of celebrating
The month of pure white snow
Everyone is skiing and ice-skating
'Cos it's Usul Day you know

Everyone awakens early to get ready
Pets and owners run to see the parade
To the floats people throw confetti
And sweet softening music is played

"Flash, flash" as photos are taken
Laughter is heard all around
Usul treats and foods are bakin'
And many Usuls are adopted from the pound

The games have now started
Whoever builds the best snow Usul wins
To stalls prizes are being carted
Who can knock down all the tins?

Fireworks burst into the night
New books are being read
Amongst some candlelight
Neopians ready for their bed

As they dream about the day
Their heartbeats race
'Cos when dreaming the replay
it puts a smile on each face

It's the 27th day of the Month of Storing,
Get skiing before the snow starts thawing.

Get out your skis! You need a reason?
It's the first day of Usul Skiing Season!

Usul Day is the start of snow heaven.
These pets will now ski 24/7.

Up the lift to Terror Mountain's top,
Down the slopes then a snow plough stop.

What makes Usuls good at this sport?
The fluffy tail acts as a support.

Dashing down the icy piste,
It's dangerous to say the very least.

But the bravest Usul gets their pay,
When voted King or Queen of Usul Day.

Then it's back by torch-lit sleigh,
To hot chocolate in a warm chalet.

So now you know why Usuls celebrate,
And what makes this holiday so great
